No you don’t understand, Mexico is going to pay for, sorry I mean, China is going to pay the tariffs.
Unironically what we're going to hear Trump say. But also, there's so much money in imports, I can see this plan getting bottled up and strangled in Congress very easily.
Except I can see Trump just sidestepping via EO. Sure, it's unconstitutional, but "official acts", remember?
I wouldnt be surprised if the US ends up with sanctuary ports where the tariffs are just hand waved by the state.
