9% sounds a lot higher than I'd previously heard
thats globally, though, in America its only about half that.
Yea I was about to mention. Japan is probably propping up that number since they recycle pretty much everything.

Japan packages EVERY.THING. in plastic. They have a plastic problem, actually.

Yea I'm aware they use plastic for everything, but they also recycle everything possible.
