America will never be the same after Milwaukee’s tent revival for the cult of Donald Trump
  • Dark read, but this needs to be said. This is all for show.

For any Trump voters reading this, I challenge you to go back and find any coherent points of actual operational improvement these people talked about. Hopes and dreams don't count. Solid steps to some sort of better life was never once mentioned from any of these people.

    You're being suckered. Again.

  • Incorrect permissions on my .arr stack
  • It's certainly more cohesive if you're doing a Samba<>Samba setup. Either combo will work though, you just need to make sure of the permissions for the share, and that your connected uid/gid is set properly for read/write.

  • RNC delegates are wearing ear bandages like Trump’s
  • Yeah, it's like he's a person to be emulated in an elevated fashion above themselves, just, y'know, without the morals, ethics, lack of money, everyday concerns, worries about keeping a job, whether or not they can afford healthcare, when or if the government will start regulating their bodies through oppressive laws, if they can buy a home and actually keep it, if they can afford medicine or actually be physically able to work, and if not, what happens then under Trump rule which is leaning really hard into Eugenics territory with all the "let em die" and "if they're homeless put em in camps" rhetoric.

It's almost like they they can't see the aging, fat, unhealthy, bald, dye job, fake tanned, lying, self-preservastionist piece of shit he really is.

    He must be magic.

  • RNC delegates are wearing ear bandages like Trump’s
  • Funny how he didn't need one IMMEDIATELY after the event, and went golfing without one, but suddenly needed one at the RNC circlejerk. Pathetic display.

Does anyone remember the whole Superman thing? 😂😂😂 HFS it's this all over again. It's all he wants.

  • Incorrect permissions on my .arr stack
  • Okay, so you need to match the uid/gid of your user on the client machine with whatever is on the host volume machine because it seems like your auth is not set right. You probably want a dedicated user. If you're not sure what that means, just move on to the next bit.

On Windows machine: create new user, make sure ownership is set in permissions, log in with that user on the client machine. Then you won't need sudo. You can Google to find more explanation, but that's the gist.

If you need to sudo to create files, it means your Windows share isn't allowing whatever authenticated user you have doesn't have permissions to actually write on the Windows machine.

  • Incorrect permissions on my .arr stack
  • Okay, so on the device which is connecting to the share, from a cli, can you create files on the share mount? Don't use your GUI if using one. Go to a prompt, and touch or copy a file in the mount location.

  • Will Trump Pump the Stock Market?
  • Nope. The entire bullshit spike from his initial term was all hopes and dreams, and he didn't do anything to actually bolster the economy or any specific sectors. Exactly the opposite, he imposed tarrifs inflicting damage to many production sectors and physical goods producing companies, lowered the "bottom" of the market by pumping up other sectors with complete fluff and BS, literally handed taxpayer cash to foreign companies that just took it and ran (remember those chip fabs that never happened, or the Foxconn fiasco?), pumped and dumped specific swing states with bullshit "deals" that were never on the table to try and sway votes for reelection (Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Georgia), and flat lied the entire time about cash coming into the country with no physical goods ever leaving (not possible).

    🤡

  • Incorrect permissions on my .arr stack
  • Just make sure you're actually authenticating to the network share and not browsing an open/anonymous share. The user perms on the host of the volume need to match for read/write, or need to be publicly writable.

  • Time Crisis GunCon PlayStation Controller
  • Can't remember the names, but there's a few modern tales on these you can buy, but are quite expensive. Thought about buying one a few years back, but the setup is complex with modern displays, and I was lazy about dealing with it.

  • Warren: Democrats ‘will suspend the filibuster’ to codify Roe v. Wade
  • His models use aggregated data to create what he has shifted from calling "predictions", to now being called "data" (as in, "the data says..."), or more recently just flat out calling them "odds". Keep in mind he does not open source his analytics at all.

So taking that into mind, he's just rebranding subtly, sure. His company got bought by Disney, and I'm sure they put the hammer down on the language because they are now an easy target to get sued. Fair enough. My issue is that prior to all of this, he was plainly making predictions, and used those words to say as much. He even talked at length about it, and why he started changing his own words to describe his work.

So he called them predictions the few times his data aligned with real-world outcomes, but on the downslope of his popularity in doing so, is backing away from that attitude.

Lay people will still read exactly what he's doing as making predictions.

  • Democrats Now Openly Admit They Pushed Biden to Block Bernie
  • One who conflates that something like the title happened (opinion), and Ford who says he chose Biden over Bernie.

The title and tone of this article make it seem like there was almost a conspiratorial effort to skew the entire party in one direction against Sanders, which is absurd. If Biden entering the ring suddenly gave people a choice they liked better than Sanders, that's still not the same thing as the former.

Also, the whole of "DEMOCRATS NOW OPENLY ADMIT..." explicitly implies that an entire group is admitting to some sort of foul play, which is wholely untrue. Because TWO people in the Democratic party said something this author massages into this crap is technically true they won't get sued for using the plurality, but it's disingenuous at best, and semantically playing with words to lure readers in.

    Assist, wildcards, and Dynamic Intents.

Let me just give the simplest explanation of my intended outcome here: I want to use Assist to speak "Play {Album} by {Artist} in {Room name}", and have it "just work".

The Speech to text triggers aren't an issue, but the Intents are. Checking the built-in Intents has been of no use. The custom sentence docs only really handle the first part of the equation.

So say I want to work this out with a local NAS mount where everything is categorized as Artist/Album in the directory structure, does anyone have any pointers or links that may be helpful?
