What is your internet service plan?
  • ATT fiber just rolled out to my neighborhood so we're switching to that from Comcast.

Our bill had apparently gone up so we were paying $110 / month for I believe 600 or 800 down but we get significantly less than that.

    With ATT it's 1Gig down for $80

  • I think it's just up to if that's something you enjoy and gives you value then it's worth it.

I'm similar with books. I personally prefer to read ebooks because I find the experience a lot easier and better, but there are some books or authors that I really enjoy so I like to get the hardcover books as well. Some books I have both digitally and physically even though I've never read the physical copies but I like and enjoy them so I keep them even though they "collect dust" as you say.

If you are thinking of paring down or downsizing, mayve just think of what games are really special to you and that you find meaningful to keep.

  • Really excited to see how this changes the way we play. The difference a ball playing keeper makes was so obvious during the FA cup final.

I feel bad about how it ended with De Gea but this could be our most important signing this summer

  • Yeah I agree and one weird thing is I keep seeing them rack up at the top of the feed here even when I sort by new. Are they all still pinned or something? I think only the current one should stay pinned

  • I hate that so much of the reporting on Man United happens over Twitter. And now Twitter is apparently not letting people view tweets without being logged in.

Oh well, at least we have Lemmy!

  • In light of recent events in the Fediverse
  • To be fair, they've basically said they would not like to stay permanently defederated and are just waiting for the proper mod tools or whatever else they need to keep up.

They are having trouble keeping up with the large volume of people participating in their communities and moderating this huge influx of new users. When most of their workflow is apparently coming from these other servers I think they're justified in defederating.

Man Utd make £50m bid for Mason Mount and prepare Harry Kane move

Disappointed by the result in the final yesterday but I'm looking forward to getting some good signings in over the summer and getting ready for next season.

Hoping we can get Mount in for a decent price. I'm not holding out much hope for Harry Kane so I'm mostly worried we'll spend too long chasing him. Need to be prepared to move on if Tottenham aren't coming to the table!
