Nobody going to mention bamboo? Ok, I’ll mention bamboo.
YouTube violates MY terms of service when it abuses my network infrastructure and resources to download data I did not request.
I’ve been running a self-hosted Vaultwarden server with Bitwarden clients. It’s been perfect. The clients could use some usability work, but other than that, no complaints.
Parachutes also haven’t been scientifically proven to work. They’ve never been double blind tested.
We are so good at healing mice now, it’s crazy.
Those risers were for Pentium III and Celeron CPU’s.
I’m currently running two modified Tualatin 1.4GHz CPU’s in a 440BX board using two of those slotkets (slot -> socket adapter).
Dear vegan absolutists, you are letting perfect be the enemy of good.
People eating less meat? Awesome. Don’t chastise them for not eating no meat.
I learned to program in gw basic when I was 12. Also spent hours typing in listings from magazines. Fun times.
Moved on to turbo pascal after a few years and got into assembly from there. Didn’t get to c++ until college.
Yes, don’t vote for him. The fascist wannabe dictator that wants Israel to nuke Gaza instead is a much better option.
I want a “dumb” phone that can run signal. Just text, calls and signal. No camera, no other apps. It’s time we split the data honeypot back up in to smaller pieces.
Run n’ guns: Contra III: Alien Wars and Pocky & Rocky
Smups: Space Megaforce
Sure. One side is forgiving record amounts of student loans and the other side wants to put pregnant women on a list. BoTh sIdEs ArE tHe SaMe.
If you think that’s bad, some old arcade cabinets had suicide batteries. Their only purpose was to keep a sram chip alive that held a decryption key. Battery dies? No more game for you.
Oh I’m not basing that on the 10% mumbo jumbo, just that data capture usually over captures. Distilling it down to just the bare functional essence will result in a far smaller data set. Granted, as you noted, there are new neuron types still being discovered, so what to discard is the question.
Given the prevalence of intelligence in nature using vastly different neurons I’m not sure if you even need to have an exact emulation of the real thing to achieve the same result.
That’s capturing everything. Ultimately you need only a tiny fraction of that data to emulate the human brain.
Numenta is working on a brain model to create functional sections of the brain. Their approach is different though. They are trying to understand the components and how they work together and not just aggregating vast amounts of data.
They are different hues though. Some a bit more yellow, others a bit more blue.
Color blind people will love the selection of different shades of green.
