Does anybody else feel dirty when they visit reddit?
  • Yeah, somewhat. It's addicting, though. And some communities haven't made the move to here, yet. So, I'll be going back and forth, for a bit. OTOH, I took the first step to leaving. Premium expired today. I cut the cord! It's not much but I want to support the community in some way. Also, after everything that has transpired, I can't support the actions they've taken. To me, sending them money is encouragement and support to continue what they're doing.

It's very pleasant and peaceful here. Better vibes.

  • POLL - Will you stay on lemmy?
  • Yes. There is a more peaceful vibe here.

  • What do you use Kratom for?
  • I discovered kratom while quitting an anti-depressant. I grew tired of side effects from chemicals and such. However, I knew I needed something to help with anxiety, mood. and depression. So, I searched for a replacement. A google search led me to K. It's an awesome plant! It has many great benefits.

  • “Sync for Lemmy is happening!”
  • Thank you for sharing this! I was searching for an iOS app.

  • Hypothetically speaking, if Reddit back tracks on their API plan and meets all of the communities expeditions- would you go back to Reddit?
  • I'm on the fence because, like it or not, reddit is still a useful resource. At least, for now, it is.

I used Apollo. This situation opened my eyes. It's time to find a new place to call home, so to speak.

It will take a minute to learn Lemmy. I'm always into exploring a new site, tho!

  • This entire fiasco has been a blessing in disguise. Reddit's CEO and admins showing their true colors woke up a lot of people. Their behavior is disgusting and unethical.

  • Lemmy's total users surged from 156k to 240k in a single day today! What caused the jump?
  • I'm attempting to move on from Reddit. Heard good things about Lemmy. I'm checking things out.
