  • I got a notification!

  • I definitely plan on adding more. Just been busy with a large project that hopefully will be released soon and then doing some traveling for the US tour.

  • Echoing what others said. Thanks for all the content. Makes me definitely less reliant on Reddit which is nice.

  • Arsenal dot com is saying own goal.

  • Didn't realize there was a chat function on lemmy, that's cool

  • I'm interested to see how, or if, Timber changes things. Will he invert?

  • My thinking, and it’s just a guess here, is that it’s a measure to reduce traffic to the site so the stream stays up and the servers don’t get overloaded.

That cost stops someone who’s casually interested in watching the match from tuning in and leaves only the “true arsenal fans” watching.

Just a guess but it’s the best guess I’ve got.

  • I think part of the quietness is that we are in this waiting period before Rice and Timber are announced. There are photos of training but not a lot is going on (until the first preseason match)

  • Where To Watch: 1. FC Nürnberg v. Arsenal F.C.
  • The last few years there’s been a random guy that streams it on twitch. I’ll be looking for that because I more or less refuse to pay to stream a preseason match.

  • I somehow completely blocked this match out of my mind.

  • Sambi Lokonga announces a small muscular injury, ruled out for Germany camp
  • Arsenal has a tendency to have a two week hamstring injury last for months haha.

  • [DiMarzio] - AC Milan are interested in Folarin Balogun. He’s one of the dreams for attack of the Italian club. Milan have money to reinvest from the Tonali sale.
  • I wonder if part of the thinking with spending so much this summer was that they’d get a nice return on Balogun or someone else and thus a loan isn’t really on the cards.

  • Sambi Lokonga announces a small muscular injury, ruled out for Germany camp
  • Ah bummer. Hope it’s a quick recovery but this was probably a vital preseason for him.

  • William Saliba signs a new contract
  • I’m actually working on a non-Arsenal related project, so I drew all of these in advance. I wasn’t entirely positive of Reiss resigning so I skipped a drawing for him. : (

  • David Ornstein: EXCL: Arsenal doctor Gary O’Driscoll moving to Manchester United.
  • Yeah, just read that in Orenstein's article. This move makes sense to me then. Don't think there's too much to read into it.
