Has anyone else noticed their comment score and post score totals getting reset to 0 when their instance updates to 0.18.1?

  • Mine got reset as well. Thought it was a lemmy native feature.

    But I don’t see a downside if it got removed altogether, less incentive to “farm” points and more focusing on the discussion itself.

    Wefwef feels the most polished of the apps so far, but only when it works. Almost every other time I try to use it posts won’t load.

  • I was a lurker in Reddit and didn’t have an account there. Randomly came across Lemmy when browsing memes. Stayed here and didn’t know I would make an account, let alone I would speak anything lol.

    I’m still learning about the whole fediverse thing. But if I could play a role in keeping Lemmy alive I would be happy to contribute.

  • Thanks for the update. I especially like the transparency on not only the “upgrade” itself but also the potential issues encountered, together with the solutions. Seems rare nowadays, or I’m just seeing less and less people doing this.

    YSK: about wefwef, a mobile friendly 'Apollo like' Lemmy web app. By far the best mobile experience I have tried so far.

  • Currently using this. The experience is quite smooth so far despite not loading posts at times. Seems to be a good alternative to browsing lemmy through Safari.
