Well damn, good thing they rejected my application last month
I really enjoyed it, the random pop culture references didn't really feel natural to me, but you could say it makes sense in the context of the characters. Definitely excited to see where the sequel goes.
Congratulations! As someone who recently moved, finding friends has been rough, but my partner has had good success using bumble's friend section if that's something you are worried about.
I like it but definitely miss some of the more niche subreddits that I followed back on reddit, but hopefully those come over as Lemmy grows.
I got into IT because it just seemed right for me being a tech nerd growing up, I do wish I would have taken a gap year or something after High school because I really don't like the work but it pays really well... So kind of stuck in it and pivoting to trying to find jobs within IT that I can just coast at that's also low stress so I can focus on myself and hobbies.
He absolutely loves chilling in our laps, he runs over everytime he hears us kick out the feet on the recliner lol
Deleted Twitter today, the platform is such a cesspool and it sucked up to much of my time anyways...
I think the game is really solid, the base game was probably the best base game experience for any borderlands game imo. It's definitely worth $20, chaos chambers are a ton of fun. My complaint is the dlcs were very lackluster and with them constantly raising the max chaos level, it killed the good build diversity that the game had at launch.
Think of an instance as a website, if reddit was on Lemmy, it would be an instance. Communities are subreddits. The reason you see other communities on different instances is because admins from both instances have agreed to basically share the community.
I'm pretty happy just using Lemmy and discord, I deleted Twitter and reddit because of recent events, it's definitely helped keeping my screen time down and discord typically leads to more fulfilling conversations imo
Applebee's used to be our go to late night spot, half off apps and solid drink specials, they have since only made half off apps a limited time thing once or twice and the overall food quality seems to have dropped a lot.
Not surprising, the party has definitely been more vocal on their hate in an attempt to vilify trans people over these part couple years. Wouldn't be surprised if it was just part of the campaign plan.

I think the biggest thing is a better sorting algorithm, I noticed when I first got on lemmy, if I subbed to a big community it would completely drown out the significantly smaller communities.
I think this is a pretty good stance? Seems to read like, "While I'm not a big fan of abortion, it's not mine or the government's decision to decide on this matter."
For anything sit down yes, just tack on 20% to whatever the listed price is, for fast food or things that don't involve a server, you don't need to.
