Great interview with Brandon about the publishing industry.
And for the lazy, at some point they'll be on Sanderson's website. Probably not TOO long after the digital sales are public next week.
I noticed it had alt text in the epub. Including that in the audiobook is a cool accessibility feature.
One nice thing about Lemmy is post titles can be edited, which means title tags can be edited if they're wrong. A big motivator of flair for spoilers on Reddit was it can be edited, unlike titles there. So it's not AS essential a feature as it was on Reddit.
But it would be a very nice thing to have. :)
Yeah, I added it.
Figured the banners probably need to be optimized but not sure what restrictions they have for various screen sizes.
They're asking about a description, like you'd find at the top of a sidebar on Reddit. I guess we'll probably want to put something like that at the top of the rules.
This is a community for discussion of Cosmere books by Brandon Sanderson
etc.
EDIT:
I took the liberty of adding something, but feel free to edit.
I also added banners and icons because I realized those were options. Copied from Reddit. Feel free to remove or change those while you're at it. :)
Just realized we probably want to add something in this welcome message about how (for now) spoilery post contents need use spoiler markup? Until we get the post spoiler blurring worked out?
Testing spoilers on mobile web
Not really a spoiler
Testing 123 testing
Removing this because RULZ
I'll be there. I was planning to go last year but had a new baby instead. :)
Hang on to that declaration at least until October ;)
