Lemmy is the fediverse link-aggregator, like Reddit
Mastodon is the fediverse microblogging platform, like Twitter
On Lemmy you subscribe to communities, but on Mastodon communities are essentially hashtags, so you can also follow users to get updates directly
The kind of person buying a Mini I would bet is closer to the kind of buyer that has historically bought the SE
I upgraded from an SE to a 13 mini
How’d it turn out?
Quick balls, they’re super easy to recognize, and it’s what I spend the most money on during every play through
Basically AI that watches HD cameras that has 2 jobs:
- Submits the possible infraction to the officials to be confirmed by a human. The video made it sound like there's already some form of this being used today.
- Turns on a light on the driver's steering wheel when they go off, so they know exactly where the line is, instead of having to wait until 2-3 laps later when they're actually punished.
It may not be a total solution, but it would definitely help
It happens a lot for me too, but with the latest update I've disabled the far-swipe right being a downvote to prevent it
It's not actually "COMPLETE" - it doesn't include any info from the movie.
I came here to complain that there’s way more than 21 books on the list.
I’m glad I went through that stuff in the demo, where I fully expected it. Jumping right into the main game a few days in was another huge bonus for playing the demo.
I’m pretty sad to see the final Shirt Club
There's complaints of residents getting lost in the woods!
The autocorrect/keyboard updates have been great!
The UI changes in Messages are awesome! I love finally being able to name non-iMessage group messages. I wish the ability to tap-back with stickers was a thing at this point.
Car Play updates are subtle, but nice overall. I wish I had another device with the beta to test out the Share Play feature because it seems pretty straightforward.
Not too many other noticeable/memorable changes though. I’ve been using it since β1, and the current version does feel the most stable so far.
I also use Safari, but I rarely use Private Browsing on my phone and I don’t have the history showing up.
Lemmy Explorer - The Easy Way to Find Communities
Since we're on a remote server here, the search doesn't find any communities that haven't been subscribed to by a user here. To get around this, we can use the Lemmy Explorer to see all the communities we can reach.
If you find a community in the Explorer that you wanna subscribe to, just copy the [email protected]
address from the community card (by clicking on it) and then past that into the search on our server.
Searching like this causes the server to go to the Fediverse to find the community, so sometimes you need to try again after a few minutes for it to work.
I just played the trial for Pikmin 4, then pre-ordered the game
I started with The Way of Kings and it took me almost a year to get through. Once I finished it, I was sucked in and quickly finished the rest of the books in the Cosmere.

As you can see in my screenshot, longer instance names are pushing the outer tab buttons out. I’d like to be able to customise the String that appears under my profile icon, or at least turn the labels off for a more consistent spacing.
