I love the vfx on the slashes tbh -red-black color scheme with the spider lily motif is just perfect. Makes me want to rewatch Jigoku Shoujo.

Favorite part is probably the transition to and from his grey haired version.

Double rewards is so nice especially since it doubles trailblaze pts as well. Definitely looking forward to additional expansions to SU as well. The new relic set looks quite nifty with some of the CC spam going around too.

Yeah, 1U/2s on ult isn't too bad, but the uptime is :/. Elemental skill is very narrow.

Lyney/Yelan double bow banner sounds nice though. I kind of want to pick up lyney's bow just for the movment speed ngl.

Lyney's burst animation music is such a nice touch. The normal attack string is also cool. Shame it won't be used much in normal play. Really impressed by the work put in by the animation dept!

Lynette's moves are also very nice. Slightly less flashy, but very sleek and a lot of poise. Yelan E at home for overworld too.

Freminet reminding me of Q from Zero Escape. The helmet idle is kind of hilarious. Actually love that he puts it on in gameplay too. I remember some talks about Capitano's playability possibly clashing with Genshin's design choices, so it's kind of neat to see.

Squirtle!Hydro traveler looks so goofy with the water gun, I almost want to use it for fun if not for having to switch back and forth.

La Signora poppin, it would make a really nice wind glider design tbh.

Childe's splash having a similar pose to the waterfall one is neat. The transition in the water from light blue ocean waves to the darker narwhal design also provides nice contrast.

Oh, interesting. I thought Fontaine was going to be mostly landlocked & connected to the current map, but this way it looks like devs would have more space to develop Liyue/Mondstadt regions in the future

The water dragon (looks like it's forming an infinity?) also seems like it could make amazing animations. I can't wait until we get back to the story patch soon.

I liked this web event for more of my faves face time, but ngl some of the other hoyolab ones I can live without. The baizhu medicine one had too much trial and error for me.

I was quite pleased when Luocha kept on coming back for more.

-I'm so ready for Fontaine exploration. Underwater looks cool so far. Loving that they have a sewer & aqueduct area because that's one of the things I was hoping with hydro region.
-Looking forward to Kaeya hangout and costume for sure. Last time we saw him it was far too brief >.<. Maybe in a couple of months we'll get an Amber skin too to round off the trio.
-Love Collei getting extra screentime with these events and quests because she unexpectedly didn't have much going with the archon quests.
-Preprint world seems to be inspired by that primo-less platformer web event a couple of months back. With the upcoming hexenzirkel & witchy era maybe they'll also add that recent potion mixing web event in the future.

One thing I really want is chest/puzzle sync with hoyolab map or some other better way to keep track of these things. I'm always torn between a sense of completionism and wanting to explore blindly. So right now I kind of just tick off puzzles on the map as I come across them and use compass/oculi finder for everything else. However, having a sync would just let me explore freely and then collect the few missing chests once I'm tired of going over a region. There's 1 chest in Liyue that I still don't have and I can't be damned to follow a guide. Either that or just a true % or chest total for a subregion. If I knew specifically what subregion the missing puzzle/chest is, it would be a lot better than poring over half of Teyvat. More elaborate in-game map markers would also be very nice.

It is pretty janky how hoyo seems to arrange these release schedules. If only weapon banner was a bit more forgiving.

Ah finally. A much needed implementation, especially as more and more underground areas will get added to the game.

maybe that symbol next to him is his constellation? I don't recognize it unfortunately. A vampiric hydro catalyst definitely makes me think of blood manipulation/lifesteal mechanics though.

Interesting. He kind of looks a bit vampire-esque with the ears and cape. I was about to say that it's a bit weird for a church, but then again they're all worshipping Barbatos here so.
