Me too, had this my whole life, but meno has really amplified it for me.
A Near Constant Sense of Doom
Anyone else? It's not exactly heart-pounding anxiety, and it's not quite hopeless depression. It's somewhere in between there, with a heavy focus on fears related to getting older (and weaker and less independent) and a bleak outlook on the world (especially the US) in general.
Oh I hate it. So much. And the strays that stay in the shower end up in my HUSBAND's cheeks later.

I. Am. Miserable. It's been a few weeks of physical and mental hell. Hormone fluctuations still show up out of nowhere, 2.5 years into menopause. They mess with my digestion, which messes with my antidepressant, which triggers an HSV2 flare-up... my poor husband. He's stuck with a bloated, exhausted, wiry-haired, whiny mess of a wife. I'm clinging by my fingertips because I promised him I would.
Same! Still in it. Hoping I'll get into the swing of older-age one of these days.
