Crypto bros have discovered idle games, and the results are incredibly boring
  • Kinda like that big infographic of logical fallacies. Honestly there seems to be a core set of like a dozen scams and everything from there is derivative more or less. Kinda love it when I hear of some actually clever way of stealing people's money as opposed to just grift or obvious lies.

  • Green Party urges Supreme Court to intervene in Nevada ballot dispute
  • Because the Green Party under Jill Stein exists ONLY to be a spoiler for Democrats.

She has no actual intentions of getting elected, her only goal is to profit from appearing to do so while getting enough attention to fan her enormous ego.

  • Boston has a whole road that is the physical manifestation of Chaos.

Storrow Drive. Runs along the Charles and is basically the northern border of the city. It has many underpasses, most of which are low enough to munch moving trucks. Every year around late Aug early Sept when college kids are moving in a few trucks get Storrow'd. It's refered to as The Storrowing. It's a fun time to need to get around the city.

Honestly Storrow is one of the scariest roads in New England, and I used to drive every day to and from work almost the entire length of Memorial which is on the opposite bank of the Charles which is a NARROW four lane road (2*2), with a speed limit that is both probably too high and completely ignored, on top of being almost eternally congested. How I didn't see a horrible wreck every day confuses me still.

tl;Dr: Don't drive in Boston unless your ready for some fun (I love the chaos)

Being able to quickly change audio outputs is awesome, I am always bouncing between headset and speakers. Also the pop up volume mixer is better than the built in one. Been using ET for years and years, can pry it from my cold dead hands.

  • [Video] AOC claims Jill Stein is predatory because "her party hasn't grown enough" in Instagram reel.
  • Exactly. She has been the head of the Green Party's for Y E A R S and they are still nowhere nearer winning offices than they were when she took over. It's all great and well to talk about change, but when your the head of ostentibly the only viable third party and continuously fail to achieve anything, step the fuck aside and find someone who can.

Again, I don't disagree with almost anything Stein advocates for. I just think she enjoys the smell of her own farts to an excessive degree.

  • [Video] AOC claims Jill Stein is predatory because "her party hasn't grown enough" in Instagram reel.
  • Recently watched Channel5 interviews at the Poor People's Army rally at the DNC and listened to Stein talk for like 10minutes. She's not wrong with anything she says, but she is entirely and completely innefectual at fomenting any momentum to effect the change she speaks about. So up to this point all they have achieved is to become the butt of everyone's jokes.

The Green party does support ranked choice voting, but it's seemingly down the list of their concerns when it should be #1, with a bullet. They will never, ever, achieve anything except the odd headline until we move on from first past the post.

  • Diablo II: Resurrected - how's the controller support?
  • Pretty much the same as D4. Before the UI revamp on PC I played it exclusively with a controller. Being able to map abilities to face buttons fundamentally changed the game, no more having to piano f* keys to swap things around.

  • What is the most painful thing you've experienced ?
  • I had major gallstone attacks a couple times a week for like 6-8 months before I finally drove myself to the ER at 2am after being woken by one. Was in surgery 3hrs later.

Was utterly excruciating pain in your abdomen, and it just grows and grows and grows, and lasts from 20minutes to over an hour. Nothing ever touched the pain either, and my PCP misdiagnosed it as extreme acid reflux and had me on Prilosec for months.

0/10, do not recommend. Plus not having a gallbladder kinda sucks ass.

  • "luxury"
  • I legit have this floor, my rent is actually $3050 in the back fucking woods of Massachusetts. It was literally the cheapest 3 bedroom we could find (partners kids). New construction, corporate landlord. Literally no idea who owns the property, or to whom my rent goes.

When I moved out of my last apartment a couple years ago(which was the exact same size), gorgeous 100yr old mill housing. Has solid wood doors, real tiled bathroom, recently (within the last 10yrs) redone electrical and HVAC. Plus the landlord and his wife were legitimately rad people and lived in the building next door and we smoked weed together, had cookouts and fires. Rent was $1650.

And the BEST part, they didn't even install the flooring correctly. It's less than 2yr old building, screws are backing out and making bumps. On top of the tiles that are peeling/lifting.

Like, my partner and I have great jobs and it's only manageable. I have absolutely zero clue how anyone doing slightly worse is getting by.

  • My OTGW piece was finished this week!

Did over two 2.5-3hr sittings. Wanted to finish it up the first day but it was 11pm and we were getting tired.
