Steam has apparently made a change to its shopping cart page in the form of a new message. It very clearly lays out to one and all that you're not buying a game—you're buying a license. The change follows on the heels of Valve modifying its subscriber agreement last month. 🖋️

Luanti is a platform that is built to help you create. Obviously, all the repositories and community hubs will adopt the Luanti name in some form. Otherwise, Luanti now represents the future of the platform. Rather than rename all the namespaces to luanti, core will be the official namespace to use. 🖊️

The Brief History of Motion Sensor Aiming in Video Games
Let’s call this: “Motion Aiming” Shortly after, Nintendo released Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. until Nintendo decided to add a gyro sensor inside the controller You can jiggy the Sack-person’s booty via Motion Sensors In this mode, you can look around from Link's perspective, and motion aiming is back. One is moving the body, the other is aiming where you’re shooting. But, Breath of the Wild is where most people got introduced to Motion Aiming In the process, “Motion Aiming” got a new name: “Gyro Aiming” (also, ‘Intu-Aiming’ was merged). Future KEX Engine games after DOOM 64 added Gyro Aiming support ever since But The Last of Us kinda works but Aim Assist is in use, and Gyro Aiming doesn’t like Aim Assist 🖊️

Buying digital games means you're just purchasing a license, California will force storefronts to admit
California will soon require storefronts to make clear that purchasing digital content, including games, does not mean you actually own it. Terms such as "buy" and "purchase" will be banned from the sale process unless sufficient caveats are added. New legislation, AB 2426, is designed to make consumers more aware of the sometimes-temporary nature of digital ownership. 🖋️

If 1 million people sign a petition, a ban on rendering multiplayer games unplayable has a chance to become law in Europe
In 2023 alone we saw nearly a dozen games like Battlefield, Call of Duty: Warzone, Knockout City, Spellbreak, and more meet the same grim fate as the lights went off for good. Prison Architect 2 is delayed yet again, but this time, it could be for good. "New technical challenges" warranted developers spending more time on stability testing.
