I really appreciate all the knowledge you shared. I was wondering if I could ask if there were any learning resources you would recommend to learn more about this subject. For example, you seen quite fluid in typing out the correct written spelling for these languages. How are you doing that fluidly on keyboard/phone? (E.g. have you programmed shortcuts or are you copy and pasting each time?)
Thank you for sharing, I found that to be a good resource. I also recently learned that July 1st 1923 is when the federal government passed the Chinese Exclusion Act (link below). https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/governments/multiculturalism-anti-racism/chinese-legacy-bc/history/discrimination/federal-exclusion-act#:~:text=Passed on July 1%2C Dominion, longer permitted to enter Canada.
I really wonder what life would be like here if Turtle Island wasn't violently and systematically colonized.
Who is your favorite player to watch and why?
My favorite player to watch recently is Minu who plays Zato in Xrd Rev2. They incorporate a huge variety of techniques in controlling space, sneaking Eddie around the screen, and trapping the opponent for predictable movement. They don't seem to have games posted regularly, but the existing footage gives plenty of inspiration to work with for many months.
So whose gameplay do you like watching and why?
Their most recent games can be seen here at the Rev2sday event (time stamps in the top comment): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yqqi0aTLAQ
I'm just testing if I can comment because for some reason I couldn't on the other "Hello there" thread
Edit: looks like it works. Asuka is awesome.
Amazing resource, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing this, I just started transitioning over to Lemmy and grateful to see acknowledgement of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit on this community
