Thank you so much! I have never needed to look into small and underground indie bands, so I had no idea how to find them even here. Just finding Club All of Rock and LIVE&LOUD Music Company immediately yielded interesting results.
Thank you for commenting. I had forgotten I wrote this post, but I still occasionally try to see if there are any new breakthrough artists and I don't think I have come across neither of those.
The one band I knew was Cherry Filter, which seems to have been quite successful, but sadly there hasn't been more in that vein.
So... It's historically accurate? The "heart" symbol doesn't really look like an actual heart and may have been modelled after a bum or a scrotum. Or the seed of a plant used as a contraceptive.
It's impossible to pronounce like it is written, so people just say "abloi" and even the b may tense up to p since the former isn't a part of finnish and comes up only in loan words.
I like using Firefox, but it's a bit ironic to have google analytics tracking on the page you declare to protect the users privacy.
Cool idea, but shipping anything to orbit is insanely expensive and those are almost impossible to aim accurately. At least with the current technology.
With the current price of, well, everything, how people afford to buy anything perishable they are not sure to eat within few days and just keep throwing them away?
Compared to France the only difference seemed to be China, but the source data is quite difficult to compare.
While they are quite prominent the mentioned brands are not actual monopolies and you do see quite often locks, elevators and faucets from other manufacturers.
Abloy doesn't play by the language rules because it is originally short for AB Lukko OY ([LTD in swedish] Lock [LTD in finnish]).
I have never had any problems with Abloy locks. The previous lock on my current building started jamming when people pulled the heavy front door open with one hand by the key, but it was made by some german company. The current locks on the outside doors are electronic so you can not pull it with the key, but can open with one hand by pulling the handle after showing the key. Aparment locks are still mechanic. The new locks neither are from Abloy.
Because that is all they got. Even if they make some profit on the sale of the hardware, it is peanuts compared to the game and tie-in sales. Losing control of even a single IP would be a serious hit to them.
Valve has been quite supportive of fan projects like Black Mesa and Delta Particles and only demanding to remove Half-Life from the name to protect their trademark. But I guess they don't want to risk involving Nintendo.
Anything cyberpunk usually fits that bill. Like Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix sounds and is ridiculous in many ways, but also has some insights on the rich taking over the media and prison system.
Markkinat eivät toimi, joten ei kosketa mihinkään ja odotetaan että markkinat korjaavat ongelman.
Not only foreign. Many natives experience also this level of response to applications.
Even though I suck at it, I've been playing Rhythm Doctor. It's still officially in early access, but it's already quite polished with a decent amount of official levels and a ton of custom ones done with the included editor.
Godot 4.1 3D physics jittery at default tick rate
I am using Godot 4.1 and after I added the first rigidbodies to my game, I noticed the physics seem really unstable. The floor is a StaticBody with large and 1m thick BoxShape. I have RigidBody objects with simple BoxShape colliders and the thinnest side is 0.3m. Often when I knock them on the floor they do not come to rest, but keep vibrating indefinitely. They are not on top of each other, this happens when a single object is only on top of the static floor. Increasing physics ticks per second to 120 seems to help, but I am not sure how it affects performance and what will be my final targets. Is it normal for the physics to be so unstable and jittery in such a case I would assume to be very simple and mundane at 60 ticks per second?

Your home country's national epic
It is a significant part of your culture and heritage, you should actually read it at least once. It does not need to be the archaic original version, many if not all have meticulously modernized revisions that retain all of the meaning while making it easier to read for modern audiences.
Richard Dawkins - The Selfish Gene
A thorough but not densely written explanation of the basics of how and why natural selection works and can lead to incredible complexity with tiny steps and without a master plan.
Also introduced the term "meme" for the unit of cultural evolution comparable to the gene of biological evolution.
Why South Korean music scene is so dominated by certain type of pop?
I have been studying Korean for a while and been looking into Korean language music. Of course every country seems to mostly have some light pop on their top lists, but I don't feel like I have had problem finding diverse genres and bands from other countries. But when I have been searching for Korean bands and especially artists singing in Korean language the exceptions to k-pop and "soft" music seem far and wide between.
And it's not like there isn't any skill or interest, I can find even gayageum covers of rock songs showing how awesome that is, but that isn't being utilised for original modern songs like it is in the neighbouring countries.
