For some reason, on Lemmy servers images in comments don't appear. Reporting this to Lemmy admins may help solve this. In the mean time, a solution to this is posting a direct link to your image in the comment. Like this -> Lemmy link
This was in B19. You can tell the change map edge limit mod hadn't been made yet.
Rimworld.gallery server upgrade
Server upgrade
Good news;
The rimworld.gallery server has been upgraded to a dedicated vCPU, giving higher download speeds. Especially for Lemmy users this will mean less waiting for renders to download
Sadly, as long as Lemmy can't show reduced size pictures of, instead of the full size renders as thumbnails, you're better off visiting the rimworld.gallery directly
I've asked a question about this on lemm.ee support

Nice start. I always forget to stockpile so my colonists die, unless they freeze to death first. That's why I mostly play year-round summer maps
Nice start, what difficulty are you playing at? I always forget about stockpiling and all my colonists die, if they don't freeze to death first. That's why I mostly play year round summer maps
@tuco I have moved it for you
You're doing great!
Technically it doesn't. However, renders like this are supposed to go in @rimworldporn . I'm sorry for all the confusion. You can post as many screenshots like this one (not full size renders) here as you like. Renders like the one you've posted here, you may post one for each colony once in a while, in @rimworldporn
No, it's fine
Great work! I always fail at stockpiling, which is why I mostly play year round summer tiles. If you want to post more updates on your colony, please do, but regular screenshots in https://rimworld.gallery/m/[email protected] . You may link to those posts from the comments here. Let's say you can upload a render of the same colony here at max every 10 days, or a final one when you're finished. Thanks for posting!
Please remove this post as it's not confirm rule 4. Thanks
The two latest colonists are part of a quest, let's hope they don't become enemies before it's over. Svetlana is pregnant, we need more knowledgeable people as we started with 3 random colonist. It could have been worse though, at least we have a doctor and a cook.
Update: the shuttle to pick them up has landed outside the dome. I wonder where this is going to lead. One of the visitors is now pregnant
Update 2: the quest has failed and the ship has left. The visitors want to leave but can't
The Dome - my latest attempt of making an alternative start
They are surrounded by deep water, cannot escape, cannot be attacked. They started with only just enough steel and components to get comms going and some aircon in this harsh tropical rain forest. Outside the dome people come to watch them constantly, although they are mostly killing eachother and the animals that wouldn't mind having them as a snack
Thanks for posting again, a big improvement! Next time even some more surrounding terrain would be nice, but this is ok. Looking at your title you seem to be planning to make some kind of blog about your colony. Please read rule 4 and you'll see it's not allowed to place a render of your same colony as a main post frequently on this magazine. You may do so in the comments of this post, or in the Rimworld magazine. Also please make your title a bit more descriptive (rule 3)
Thanks for taking the time to post again, it's a very nice colony. I see you have a stash of stone chunks on the Eastern bridge. If you're using them to slow down your enemy, it only works once so having a row of 1 or 5 chunks has the same slowdown effect. It works better when you make it multiple rows as then the slowdown occurs multiple times

Already have a Lemmy, MBIN or some other fediverse account?
If you just want to follow one of the magazines on rimworld.gallery, you don't have to make an account here. You can use the fediverse instance you are a member of.
Simply search for " !RimWorldPorn @ rimworld.gallery " and subscribe. The same goes for all other channels originating from this instance. However, to post a render you will likely need a local account. Make sure you use the same name, that way you will receive notifications when you are mentioned here on your primary account.

Add more magazines to rimworld.gallery
Rimworld gallery started focused on Rimworld, especially colony renders. But it can offer much more. You can add existing magazines from other instances or even start one of your own if one doesn't exist yet. The only requirement being it has to be gaming related
Let us know in the comments if you'd like to add or even start your own magazine!

I did a void provocation and kept my colonists grouped together. Then traders arrived and the revenant spawned inside the area of my proximity detector
