Hello Everyone!

I'm new to Lemmy and I wanted to be more active than I formerly was on Reddit. I don't really have a clear idea of what I want to do with this community, I just would like to talk with other foreigners living in Japan.

EWWWWWW (not my image)
  • I would try it. I love the salted white chocolate ones

  • I think this is not talked about enough. We also won't be able to see deleted posts and comments because of the API pricing.
  • Yeah it makes certain subs like AmITheDevil pretty much unusable because so much of what gets shared there ends up deleted

  • The deflection and projection is strong
  • I thought this wasn’t real but I looked it up. It’s real

  • Why is the mod of conservative also the mod for LGBTQ ?
  • Why does the “lgbtq” make you think that?

  • Man accosts 9 y/o cis girl at track meet, accuses her of being trans, while his wife calls girl's two mothers "genital mutilator, groomer, pedophile". Kelowna, British Columbia
  • This is exactly why TERFs are shooting themselves in the foot with their gatekeeping. That isn’t to say that the other stuff they do isn’t stupid

  • I love how small and wholesome this community is :) (OC)
  • I think I like being in the smaller communities. Feels more personal

  • Behind the Bastards Lemmy!
  • It could very well be. Thank you for trying to help!

  • Behind the Bastards Lemmy!
  • It's still giving me a 404 unfortunately

  • Behind the Bastards Lemmy!
  • I'm also getting a 404. I'll check back later

  • Whats a game that everybody seems to love that you cant stand for one reason or another?
  • I also couldn't get into Witcher 3. I don't have anything against other people liking it, I just couldn't do it. For one, there's so much rape talk even early in the game that really put me off. It felt like cheap world building.

  • so long reddit
  • I think the key element here is that mods hold a lot of power and feel like they’re actively being pushed away by reddit policy

  • Welcome!
  • Hello! New to Lemmy and was more of a lurker on Reddit but I'm excited to take part in some smaller communities!
