When I was still using my phone a lot for texting emails, I missed my blackberry so much. The keyboard was great.

I did something similar, and would play with them. Pick them up and give them snuggles, then play.

Granted sometimes I ended up napping with the cat during snuggles, so use that at your own risk. Though cuddly cat naps are their own reward I would argue.
