Senior Chief Petty Officer. Starfleet is in my blood, and I've spent my entire adult life in service to boldly going.
Keiko and Molly are my favorite humans, but Transporter Room 3 will always be my favorite.
Just don't ask who what's in the pattern buffer.
No, they just want to hide the "undesirables" under someone else's rug.
Ultinately they don't care if that "rug" ends up being "prison"
I've started asking people "do you have any independently verified statistics to back that up?" and when they start justifying why the answer is no or trying to say anything other than "yes and here they are" I just hit the with "So no, then. The answer is 'no I don't have anything that backs up what I'm saying in reality'" and usually that shuts them up because they don't rant to talk to me anymore. Which is fine by me. It's usually in-laws.
I love the first one. It's great. Sets up so much possibility that you get to imagine: how did vampires and werewolves behave and hide throughout time, how do they plan on staying hidden without dying out, what's next after the hybrids.... The action is perfect, the fights are fast paced but easily followed. The romantic bits feel a bit forced but not off-puttingly so, more just unnecessary I feel but I'm sure plenty enjoy it.
The sequels are fun, too. I generally don't watch them after I finish the first one. Just not my favorites. Same thing with John Wick.

Spot on, my wife likes listening to those stories read by that annoying Ai voice.
I'm sure plenty of nazis were afraid of losing their jobs. In the end, they "just followed orders".
IVF: Am I a joke to you?
it sure seems like they’re colluding to restrict the amount of oil in the market
Um....
Yes? 100% always has been, they literally have meetings and what is essentially a corporate union specifically to do it. And they're not subtle about it.
Is this really news to some people?
Make the rich feel fear again.
The first elementary school I went to was built in the 1930s and had two of these in every bathroom. Never had to wait to wash my hands.
Granted, I never had to wait in highschool either but that's because teenagers are nasty.
But... But.... I've been assured by many old people that heat pumps are super inefficient, waste tons of electricity, and only work about 10 degrees from outside temps!
Surely these people wouldn't have lied or misrepresented the facts in order to support their own warped worldviews where renewable energy and efficiency measures are evil and Jesus wants them to shoot up power substations near solar projects...
.... I really need to move out of the Bible belt...
".... Aren't you the engine core from Event Horizon?"
Every time I hear or read that phrase, all I can think is "BITCH I NEVER SAID I WAS TOLERANT OF YOUR SHIT"
Yes, it's duct tape.
You say that like duct tape isn't in all of our houses, just waiting to be useful in one of ten thousand ways.
Here it's adding color contrast, presumably in a way the rider likes, and it makes cleaning up easier while also giving some minor protection against light scratching.
10/10
I can't wait to take my ebike out. My wife and I managed to get a couple suburb rides in while my truck was busted, but then it got too cold for her and too snowy for me, but once it's warm and dry enough we are heading to the nearest trail.
You know, it would be real cool if everyone just decided to ignore him and keep cooperating with the world.
I have noticed that I get less motion sick in some games on my new 240hz screen, but unfortunately I still get it.
That said, I'm unsure what my actual fps is in Doom/E but I'd wager somewhere around 100.
Checking FOV and disabling motion blur, chromatic abberation, and DoF are my first things before I even start a new game.
I just assume it's because I'm getting older, and I'm not sitting in a proper chair most of the time.
How long before Israel declares it a hamas outpost and bombs the shit out of it?
