Yeah, no problem. Everyone should check, I would check too if it was not my link. Thanks for the reminder
Definitely a terrifying evil
haha
I made a horror game in 3 days to scare my Girlfriend. Here is a link to to my google drive if you want to try it
Google drive to the rar file: Google drive
Hey all, as you may know from my previous posts I make indie games and I decided to take a little break from my main project and spend 3 days to make a scary (but also kind of humorous) horror game for my girlfriend. It's called the Terrors of Adulthood and the theme is all the bs the we have to deal with as adults. I presented it to hereon Halloween and she kinda liked it (she's not really a gamer). So I decided it to post it here because this is my first venture into the horror genre and I'm not going to lie, it's kind of exciting. I might go all in on a horror game in the future. I kind of like small atmospheric stuff that slowly immerse you in their horrors. I would love some feedback from actual gamers Also I want to say the ending is from an inside joke that we have - I'm not making any statements about relationships, feminism, modern society or anything like that. Here are the controls: WASD, ARROWS - Movement E - interact with objects (up to the player to find out which objects are intractable) Space - Jump F - skip intro when replaying
I didn't have time to make menus or restart screens as I was in a hurry to finish the experience by Halloween. So ALT+F4 to quit the game. :D
P.S. I'm not sure if these types of post are allowed. If they are not - mods feel free to remove it. :)
Welc
Thank you for your generosity! Memes are my thing, I will try to restrain myself in the future.
Thank you for the kind words. Personally I wouldn't do that, seems to risk. Please make sure you have enough funds to survive for as long as possible. I grew up poor and it sucks. I hate that kind of instability. Good luck with your studio! :)
The demo is like a prologue level. Definitely play it. It will not spoil anything, it adds to the experience as you learn some stuff about The Dev (within the game world)
Thank you so much :)
Ah yes... the Hitler Toaster debacle :D
Thank you :)
Thank you :)
Thank you! I will go easier with the next game or at least that is the plan
Thank you, you are too kind. Also I'm pretty sure you can probably play it on low or medium. Try the demo if you want see how it runs
haha I know there is a way to QUIT on the Engine I'm using. I wonder if there is a way to Uninstall it haha
YES! I love them both too, some of my main inspirations. Glad someone else sees it!
Congrats on that! To just get a game demo to Next Fest is huge! I don't know how to not feel like salesman, but just try to be sincere and share your success with players. Despite all the rage-bait and negativity on the internet, people genualny like positive stories. That's what I try to do at least :)
absolutely :)
Thank you! Almost two years in development now, I really hope people enjoy it. It might truly break my heart if it players are disappointment
Thank you! I have two other games and this has never happened! I was still a newbie then. I took my time making this one. I hope people enjoy it : )
Thank you so much to everyone who has wishlisted the game—it truly means the world to me. And if you’ve never heard of it, that’s totally okay! I just wanted to share a bit about what it’s like to pursue the dream of making indie games on your own.
Balancing this with a regular job, a wonderful dog, and a supportive girlfriend can be overwhelming, and honestly, sleep has become more of a luxury than a reality at this point. But creating games has always been a huge dream of mine, and no matter how tough it gets, I’m determined to make it happen. I genuinely believe that the harder you work, the luckier you become—but it all starts with putting in the work.
I just wanted to take a moment to remind everyone that, even if a game doesn’t turn out perfect, most indie devs have poured their heart and soul into it, often while juggling tight budgets, limited time, or both. In my case, my brother, who’s an amazing programmer, helps out whenever he can, but he’s been incredibly busy this past year, so it’s mostly just on weekends. For me, it’s been a lot of 14-hour days.
So thank you again for all the support—it makes all the sacrifices worthwhile. And to any fellow developers out there, keep pushing forward. We’re all in this together.
Currently downloading The Witcher 3 for the first time. Got any advice for me?
So I just read this book on history of games called "Blood, Sweat and Pixels" and was fascinated by the chapter on The Witcher 3 and mostly how the team put in so much thought and care in every single side quest. And seems that there are a lot of moral decision to be made on each adventure. So I finally decided to give it a try. Got any advice for me?
Loving the vibe of this comment :D
I make games and this literally happened to me this morning
Inspired by true events from this morning
What is your favorite Assassin's Creed game?
Hi guys, I have the hunger for more history games. I have to say that usually I'm not a huge AC fan, but last summer I played Odyssey and I'm a huge ancient history nerd and I think that the game and the period were represented very well. (The Story was kinda meh, but serviceable). What other AC game would you recommend for me to play next? What other titles are the most like Odyssey?
UPDATE: Here is the final design of the Humorless Toaster, that this wonderful community helped me pick yesterday! (Needless to say one of the previous versions was unintentionally problematic)
Thank you all for contributing, here is a link to the original post: https://lemmy.world/post/19721257
Also if you want to support the game, a simple wishlist will make my day :) Steam link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2336120/Do_Not_Press_The_Button_To_Delete_The_Multiverse/
We need more games like The Stanley Parable, so I'm making one! Please share ideas and suggestions about what you want to see in this type of game!
A first person exploration game where you are allowed to do anything except press that BIG RED BUTTON. Enjoy different activities, look for secret areas and find new ways to annoy The Developer. Don't press the button! Got it? Inspired by games like The Stanley Parable and Title_Pending.
Hello guys, I’ve noticed a lot of people here are hungry for more games like the Stanley Parable. After playing the O.G. game and the Deluxe edition I’ve found myself wanting more of this. More of these meta, narrator led, weird humour games! I started work on my called Do Not Press The Button (To Delete The Multiverse). You can check it on Steam here and follow the development.
I’m really open to ideas and suggestions of stuff you maybe miss in The Stanley Parable or mechanics you would like to see or even wacky characters! (So I can shamelessly steal them, nah j.k. I will ask your permission to include your ideas)
Here are some of the shenanigans you can do in my Stanley Parable-inspired game
Hello guys, I can finally show some footage from my game called Do Not Press The Button (To Delete The Multiverse). I've been working on it for an year and a half and hopefully it's close to being done. If you like to keep tabs on the game and support small indie devs, please wishlist on Steam: STEAM LINK
My wacky Stanly Parable-inspored game called DO NOT PRESS THE BUTTON (To Delete The Multiverse) finally reached 5000+ wishlists today!
Hello fellow bucket lovers! I've posted here before about my game called Do Not Press The Button (To Delete The Multiverse): STEAM LINK
And I've gotten very positive feedback and even a few of you did play-tested my game. From what screenshots I've posted here, people seem to like it a lot and today I wake up and find out that I've gotten over 5000 wishlists! This something I never imagined when I was starting this goofy ass project! So thank you to everyone!
Another intense day at the Goose Military Court
Hello guys, I just want to share the progress of my indie game, called Do Not Press The Button (To Delete The Multiverse)
Right now I'm working on a the Courtroom level. Can you guess the movie that inspired this level?

I have a level that is a tribute to The Stanley Parable in my game, here is my progress. Any feedback?
My game is called Do Not Press The Button (To Delete The Multiverse) and in it I have a multiverse called A Universe Where This Game Was Made By People With Actual talent and it's a "What If" the Crow Crows Crows guy made my game. I think it's turning out good. What do you think? Here is my Steam Page
I'm looking for play testers for my wacky Stanley Parable inspiredgame to give me honest opinion. If you are fan of those types of games, let's play : )
Hello, I'm close to releasing my third game called Do Not Press The Button (To Delete The Multiverse) so I would like to get some feedback from players. My only conditions is that you let me watch you play because I need to see player reactions and ask questions at specific moments (whether a level works as intended, or a joke lands properly). Usually it's very chill, fun and we have a great time! Here is the game's Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2336120/Do_Not_Press_The_Button_To_Delete_The_Multiverse/
Comment here or message me if you want to try it and give me some feedback!
