This woman needs a psychological examination
  • I know 2 people, completely separate and accross the country from each other that have wrecked due to autopilot failures or errors or whatever. I know this is ultimately anecdotal, but it really seems like Tesla isn't putting up pretty good numbers given my horizon.

  • Is Paul (NZ) the most unhinged assistant?
  • It always seems like his judgements are pretty arbitrary as well. He's my least favorite host out of all the ones I've seen. However, I feel like he's improved a lot since NZ S01. He was pretty bad that season but is improving with each subsequent series.

  • Theo Von Says TikTok Ban Boils Down To Covering Up Palestine ‘Genocide’: ‘They Want To Own It, Dude’
  • Speaking as someone with no social media (big grain of salt), whenever I've heard reporting on people seeing the genocide on their phones it was always referencing tiktok. They never said "people watched children be exploded on twitter or Insta". That could be due to user preference or whatever, but as an outsider, I have the ambient notion that more of this kind of content was coming from tiktok.

More concretely, in a lot of the stuff that came out of the twitter files, it's clear that the US government does have, what I would classify as, inappropriate contact with american social media companies that can controle narratives. Without saying something with absolute certainty, the statement he's making sounds pretty reasonable.

Also nothing is just one thing, there's probably a ton going on.

  • Day 163 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
  • Just finished it for the first time, have been telling all my friends about it. There's something about how messy the lore is. Some collectables don't tell you anything except shape the atmosphere of the oldest house, which is so nice. It was so beautiful too. Really good low flying game. I'm gonna definitely check out some other titles by this studio. I've played AW 1 and loved the connections to that. Just a real surprising 10/10 for me.

  • John Brown's Sword Used in Bleeding Kansas (1856)
  • No, I just did a little dive myself and you're right that there isn't much out there describing this. My only source was that it was mentioned in the podcast I mentioned. I'll edit my post to include error bars. Thanks for pointing this out.

  • John Brown's Sword Used in Bleeding Kansas (1856)
  • The podcast "American Carnage" is a great journey if you don't know anything about John Brown. They mention this sword in the podcast, it's got a hollow compartment in it that contains liquid mercury. The mercury flows forward when it's swung in a slash, changing the weight distribution of the blade to kill the enemies of abolition with greater prejudice. Based

Edit: My only source for this was the podcast I mentioned, so take it with a grain of salt. I hope it's true though. It's such an interesting idea for a sword.

  • Yeah, I think dems don't take equality seriously at all. The cultural equality stuff they parrot is to distract from the fact that they'll never do anything to change the biggest inequality in the US, wealth and class. Even if it'd Freudian, in that they can point and say "see there? I want an equitable society" while ignoring the wealth inequality that is, statistically speaking, doing well for the college educated base they now encompass.

  • The one we needed...
  • It helps when their brain isn't actively dripping out of their ears😁. But yeah, wouldn't you rather have someone who you actually agree with that's old? Besides, Bernie would have won 2016 if anything, he was almost a decade younger at that point.

  • Let's do something and help each other.
  • Like honestly this whole thing, my answer included, is pointless. Would you like to talk about it, in that case fine. If not, why don't we try to stop trying to find fucking catharsis by burning strangers online. The world sucks right now, shouting at each other won't fix that. I stand by my initial comment, and again, we can talk about it or not. After that my answer was as childish as theirs.
