A 1933 statue on the facade of the central-London headquarters of the BBC, created by a prominent British artist who was claimed to have sexually abused children and a dog, was vandalised with a hammer by a protester on Wednesday. The incident comes just days after a group in another British city were cleared of criminal damage for toppling a statue of a controversial historical figure and throwing it into a harbour.

A man leant an aluminium extending ladder against the front of the London headquarters of state broadcaster the BBC Wednesday evening, allowing him to climb to the decorate stringpiece level with the bottom of statue Prospero and Ariel, which he chipped pieces from with a lump hammer while police watched from below. Also scrawled on the statues were the messages “time to go was 1989”, and “noose all peados [sic]”.

Gill, a favourite of British elite tastes in his own time and whose stylistic influence helped mould the aesthetic of 20th century Britain, was revealed in a biography after his death to have been a sexual abuser who raped his own teenage daughters, sister, and family dog.

There are about 50% more Hispanics than blacks in the U.S. lately, so during the first period (1/1/2018 to 3/14/2020), in which both blacks and Hispanics averaged 118 road deaths per week, was actually a period in which the Hispanic fatality rate on the roads was only about 2/3rds as bad per capita as the black rate.

During the COVID/pre–George Floyd period of 3/15/2020 to 5/23/2020, Hispanic road deaths went down while black road deaths went up slightly. Then in June 2020, the prime month of the Mostly Peaceful Protests, black traffic fatalities hit peaks. Hispanic deaths shot upward, too, but lagged black deaths through the first half of the 2021. By 2022, Hispanics were routinely dying more on the streets and highways (at least in raw terms, not adjusted for per capita).

All in all, whites are dying per week 13% more on the road in the George Floyd Era than in the Good Old Days before COVID, while blacks are dying 36% more and Hispanics 33% more. The black trend is at least moving in the right direction, but Hispanics got worse over the latter part of 2021 and 2022.

Two girls aged ten and 11 say they were sexually assaulted in the sea off Bournemouth beach yesterday.

Officers were called at 3.45pm to reports a man had touched the girls inappropriately while they were swimming near the pier.

Dorset Police said they arrested a 43-year-old man from London on suspicion of sexual assault.

The girls' allegations are the latest reports of sexual assault in the seaside town.

Earlier this month, police said they were looking for a group of men after a 17-year-old boy claimed he was sexually assaulted in the sea.

Meanwhile, a 19-year-old man is awaiting trial after a 15-year-old claimed he raped her in the sea in front of thousands of holidaymakers.

A spokesman for Dorset Police said today: 'Detectives are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward as they investigate two reported sexual assaults at Bournemouth Beach.

'We received a report at 3.45pm on Sunday of a disturbance in the area of Pier Approach. Officers attended and it was reported that two girls - aged ten and 11 years - had been touched inappropriately by a man when they were in the sea near to the pier.

'Following inquiries, a 43-year-old London man was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.'

Detective Constable Cameron Carter, of Bournemouth CID, said: 'We are carrying out a detailed investigation into these incidents and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened who has not already spoken to police.

Yevgeny Prigozhin’s decision to turn back from Moscow came after threats against the family members of Wagner leaders from the Kremlin, British security sources have claimed.

According to a report from London’s Daily Telegraph, the most closely connected British paper to the Conservative government, UK security services have come upon intelligence that suggests that prior to the decision by Yevgeny Prigozhin to turn back from his march on Moscow, Russian intelligence services made direct threats against the families of the Wagner group leaders.

Upon reaching the Lipetsk Oblast (region), which is just around 230 miles (370km) from Moscow, Prigozhin abruptly halted and turned back after coming to an agreement with Belarussian dictator Alexander Lukashenko, a close ally of Vladimir Putin, who reportedly negotiated the stand down on behalf of the Kremlin.

A Dominican professional basketball player named Óscar Cabrera Adames has died of cardiac arrest at the age of 28, according to reports.

According to an Instagram post from Dominican sports journalist Héctor Gómez, Adames died while undergoing a stress test at a Santo Domingo health facility. Adames is believed to have suffered from myocarditis, a disease that erodes the heart’s ability to pump blood. Following his death, several social media posts written by Adames were found in which he said he developed myocarditis after receiving two coronavirus vaccine shots.

Adames says he agreed to receive the vaccine because it was a requirement for work.

“I got a damn Myocarditis from taking a fckng vaccine,” Cabrera wrote. “(I got 2 doses of Pfizer) And I knew it! Many people warned me.”
