A look inside China: Is this the most sovereign country on Earth? - Geopolitical Economy Report
What is life like in China? How does its economy work? Is it obsessed with censorship, or actually defending its sovereignty against foreign interference? Journalist Ben Norton discusses his experience living in the country. Watch our related video "How China became the world's industrial superpowe...

Great video from Ben Norton
What is it with this videos and UA soldiers not properly securing their packs to their backs? Also this woman seems like an op hardcore but idk
I'm gonna be honest, I found using it in writings and talking is far more helpful than any note taking or studying. Though I haven't taken a note in anything for since I was 12 so idk if im the best person to ask.
The guy is an ex member of the Communist party, communism = Russia
France is weird with Unions because they don't have a massive technical membership, but a lot of supporters and people outside of unions members get the union wages and such if I am remembering correctly
Get fat, be physically unable to run a mile in under 15 Mins, be rich? I dunno
Party leadership determines the fundamental nature of Chinese modernization. The nature, purpose, founding mission, convictions, policies, and principles of our Party determine that Chinese modernization is socialist modernization, and not modernization in any other form. Under socialism with Chines...
The Ukrainians could destroy the entire black sea fleet and they'd still lose the war.
The slope wasn't even slippery, it was just a fucking cliff, went from nazis are evil and bad to, a lot of them weren't actually Nazis, and with the fucking rainbow flag to boot. The nazis exterminated gay people you dumb fuck, nazis from the Galicia region murdered poles and Jewish folk and other "undesirables". I just dont get how dumb this stupid fucks can get.
My grandfather told me that when he was fighting the Nazis that his regiment had bets on who could kill the most SS members, because everyone knew the SS were the worst of the worst.
They updated it at least:
Political scientist John Alexander Armstrong wrote in 1963 that Nazi indoctrination was absent among the soldiers within the division.[16]
Chinese President Xi Jinping and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Friday jointly announced the establishment of a China-Syria strategic partnership.
Professor Roland Boer, he is afaik the only non-Chinese professor of Marxism in all of China and studies marxism, Chinese socialism, and religious belief and spirituality from a marxist perspective. These are my recommendations for books, with the first one being my all time suggestion for people:
- Socialism with Chinese Characteristics: A Guide for Foreigners
- Red Theology: On the Christian Communist Tradition
- Criticism of Heaven
Most of his books are free on his website or around the internet
Absolutely. It wouldn't be the company it would with the NSA, and they are know fucking everything, in the USA, and globally. Assume the US government knows it if it on the internet.
Truly the best of the worst lmaooo
I practice a weird amalgamation of Christianity, Chinese Folk Religion and Buddhism. From my experience many pagans are not right wing at all, but most pagans are quiet and don't rant and rave like the loser nazis do. They quietly practice their beliefs, maybe with a small group and mind their own fucking business.
This is the guy that praised Park Chung Hee right?
China has such a strong nationalist element that if the CPC decided to spurn nationalism entirely there would absolutely be political turmoil, it's a problem in some aspects but largely its managed, it's the imperfect nature of running a country.
If you study Chinese culture and history these become much less weird, they are the 12 pillars of historical, cultural, political and ideological narrative currents popular in China for thousands of years, some new and modern, others ancient. China Today has an excellent write up on the topic I think and suggests a great book on the topic that deep dives into why these words we chosen:

As for why it is plastered everywhere, that's how propaganda works, in every country of every ideology in the history of the world. Especially now, with so many different interconnected methods of information dissemination its crucial to be spreading a unified message about the goals, dreams, and aspirations of the national peoples.
I personally love tiktok, it's great on a my morning train commute where I have to switch trains, it's fun, I get a mix of shitposting, leftist politics and cute animals, it hasn't ruined my attention span or anything like. I still prefer long form entertainment like video essays and documentaries, but I tend to enjoy a wide variety of content styles and mediums so maybe I'm just a weird person 😅 I think it's amusing how many people shit on it, mostly I think because it's cool to shit on the popular thing, I understand that a lot of popularity is astroturfed, but I tend to have a an odd appreciation for popular culture, so again I think I'm might be weird, especially in a counterculture oriented community like this, but maybe I'm wrong? Also I sound like an anti-hipster and I promise I'm not just trying to be unique lol.

Is playing a heavy role here
I consider myself fairly knowledgeable, the Institute for New Economic Thinking confuses me..
It's a Soros funded organization based out of NYC, run by hedge fund people, they certainly aren't pro communism or Marxism, but they have a lot of videos advocating for unusually things when compared to typical neocon and neolib economix thinkers and institutes in the west, in particular they have a pro-china tilt, I don't really know what to think about them and digging hasn't helped at all, anyone have any decent resources or videos about them? Or suggestions for where to look?
Kela, a mega hydro-photovoltaic (PV) complementary power station constructed by China, will undoubtedly be inked in history for its unprecedented installed capacity scale of one million kilowatts.

looking for some potential resources on Deng, offering critique from a non-dogmatic stance, things he could have done better, mistakes he made, etc
Something that isn't anti-deng but honest criticisms
