  • If you add the modern UI extension Lemmy is even better

  • Why does Lemmy feel so fresh compared to Reddit?
  • How long until the "broke two arms" story comes here?

  • [SwayWM] simple and productive!
  • What's your bar font? I would like to use it for my waybar

  • In your opinion, what is a thing that lived up to the hype it had or still has?
  • Yep, when I got myself a new pc I was surprised at the speed of the sata ssd. I want to get a NVME SSD but everything is expensive in my country

  • In your opinion, what is a thing that lived up to the hype it had or still has?
  • Yeah, it's a really good story and the mix between 2d and 3d is beautiful

  • In your opinion, what is a thing that lived up to the hype it had or still has?

It can be a movie, a scientific discovery, food, whatever

  • That was a nice read, thanks for all your work @[email protected] ! I hope that you can get a good rest soon after things settle down a bit

  • Does Lemmy have an equivalent to the microblog section of Kbin? If not, does anyone know if there is a plan to add it in hte future?
  • From what I remember, the microblog section is the one that connects with Mastodon. If I'm wrong, please correct what I said

  • Does Lemmy have an equivalent to the microblog section of Kbin? If not, does anyone know if there is a plan to add it in hte future?
  • Yes, it isn't the same but maybe I'll make one in the future. After all, it was the same with Reddit and Twitter

  • I'm a Lemmy user and I'm okay with Kbin getting the majority of users, as long as we're able to federate with each other it doesn't really matter where the new people go

  • Does the name Fediverse comes from the words federation and universe?

Have you ever been so scared by a nightmare that when you woke up you were just there, frozen, remembering it? if so, what was it about?
  • Are you able to go back to sleep after waking up? I would have trouble if I was in your situation

  • Have you ever been so scared by a nightmare that when you woke up you were just there, frozen, remembering it? if so, what was it about?
  • Those dreams where you're waking up multiple times are one the creepier types that has to exist. I remember having multiple dreams like that and none are nice memories, every time there was a reason to wake up for real as soon as possible. One time, I was aware that I was dreaming and I was thinking, oh shit, I need to wake up, I need to wake up because I knew that there was something waiting to enter my room

  • Good lovin (rework) by Golda. Thanks to youtube for recommending me that song, I love it, it always makes me think of a sunny spring morning

  • This is my new home
  • That reminds me of r/shitposting, there used to be a time where you could ruin an entire post and have like more than 50 replies of the autobot alone

  • What's a movie (or series) that lies about its genre?
  • That title makes me think that it's a romance movie

  • What's a movie (or series) that lies about its genre?
  • It doesn't really matter as long as it ends up having the opposite result of what was expected of it

  • What's a movie (or series) that lies about its genre?
  • Yes, it is thanks to those elements that I was always under the impression that the movies take place in the future

  • What's a movie (or series) that lies about its genre?
  • You're right about that... I never thought that much about it. It actually makes sense. I was always under the impression that by "a long time ago" meant that Earth was in the distant past and the events of the movies were always the present events

  • What's a movie (or series) that lies about its genre?

Like, a horror movie that instead of scare you makes you laugh more than a comedy.

Also, thanks to the people that answer the post, this is the easiest way to find new series and movies to watch 😁

Animals and insects suddenly are as smart as humans, which species should we try to befriend first before a world war between species occur?

To me, the first should be ants, they're practically everywhere and there's a lot of them
