Nope. Every post I've seen about Bluesky has me confused for this exact reason. If it wasn't for people talking about Lemmy in mass on another platform, I'd have no idea what the Fediverse is.

I've never stood in line less than 20-25 minutes in a Publix line. It could be like 5 people and Publix folks have a level of relaxation I strive to achieve daily at work.
14 year Reddit person and leaving was for the best. After the initial "what am I doing", it branched to me checking out Mastodon, then pixelfed, and then Fediverse is awesome. My only real beef is the sports situation is not it. Outside of that I haven't used reddit for a year and don't miss it honestly.
