Can you run Doom on it?
I have plenty of experience working with contractors. I am a contractor. Many of my friends are contractors. When there is an abundance of work they'll bid high. If they don't get the job no big deal. If they get paid well then why not take it on, push lesser paying jobs back. Both times I heard this phrase they were making a big deal about nothing and I got someone to do it much cheaper.
Congratulations! You'll be fine. I knew zilch when I bought my first house (total dump) and learned as I went.
After 30 years of owning my own home my red flag is when they say "this is going to be a big job".
I was thinking more along the lines of The Tick, they're not so far apart I suppose
I've always had this fantasy of dressing up like a superhero and helping folks out. Like fixing flat tires and small stuff like that. I'd hire a sidekick to do all the heavy lifting while I stood around taking the credit and making silly jokes
Your money will go further if you donate to a local charity or food bank. That being said, I'll give money occasionally. It's nice to let them know others do genuinely care about them and their plight. Usually I'll talk to them first. If they're not too pushy I'll slip them enough for a couple of meals. Subway gift cards are a good way to go. There's lots of them and you know your money will go towards food. Most importantly treat them with respect and dignity
Headline should read "One third of Americans have no idea how a tariff works"
They probably responded by saying Christians aren't perfect just forgiven
Even if the Nazi party was socialist, would that be a problem? It's not evil to give the citizens of your country health care, it's giving only the Aryan people health care while giving everyone else the gas chamber or prison that's the crime. This is a propaganda tool I think, much like a strawman argument, a distraction. Just to illustrate the absurdity: the Nazis wiped their asses with toilet paper, are YOU going to be like the nazis? Better use your hand.there Hitler!
Even if it was enforceable, that would be a slippery slope akin to having to pass a test to vote.
"Every day like five times a day for like a month straight"
"You're really cracking yourself up aren't you?"
They were in full view of the trail so i knew someone would call the cops or rangers on them. This isn't an area where folks are accustomed to seeing homeless people.
The news article said the person died of exposure which i took to mean froze to death though it hadn't gotten that cold yet. My fishing buddy later said a ranger told him it was a man and a woman sharing a sleeping bag and it was the woman who had died.
Homelessness is becoming more common where i live. I'm thinking some don't have much experience sleeping in the cold and don't realize how important it is to insulate yourself from the ground. This may account for the woman freezing to death despite it not being that cold yet
I spotted a tent in a public park this time last year. No way was i gonna narc but knew they were doomed because they were in full view of a paved trail. A few days later a newspaper article said two people were found inside. One alive, one deceased

Forbidden Zone is on Tubi. Oingo Boingo provides the soundtrack to this film directed by Richard Elfman
I prefer the original black and white version as it matches the era much of the (non OB) soundtrack comes from but watchable gonna do?
