You're a disgusting person. You read news of someone drowning in their car and your first thought is "she was rich she deserves it"
Actually probably not. Not without major concessions. The pound will have to go which they will never accept unless they have absolutely no other choice
I'm willing to bet that Linux is irrelevant to Microsoft. It doesn't threaten them, Microsoft has it's core business elsewhere
So very similar to Germany then. Every language refers to the country by the name of the tribe that was closest to them when Germany wasn't a thing yet.
I think once you unlocked all the luxuries that the world has to offer, the temptation gets the better of you eventually. I don't condone it, but I also can't say I wouldn't live a bit more wasteful if I had all the money in the world
In SE you either make rich people richer or get paid nothing, there is no inbetween
Yeah bikepacking for holidays and hiking bivying cycling stuff like that regularly. Just makes life worth living
Or buy two more private jets and always have two fly randomly across the country while noone knows which one you're using
Checkmate
Done that for free
Do you live under a rock?
The US definitely do not have a great democracy, if you can even call it that
Don't these people test their shit before release? Hobby devs have better qc than reddit
Just fuck off and let me use whatever OS I want
I think he feels miserable. No happy person behaves this way
Newsflash: you're fucked
Being anti immigration does NOT make you a nazi. It's this kind of us against them rhetoric that got us into this situation in the first place. It may make you a racist, but you can be racist and an asshole and still be a democrat and far from a nazi. The world isn't black and white, please grow up
Sir you are too level headed for the internet
Just spent 2 hours riding this absolute dream of a gravel track
Obviously not this track alone, but I thought this picture was absolutely gorgeous. The rest of the tour was no less beautiful
Finally added some proper settings
I'll try to make as much of the app as customizable as possible, user feedback will help tremendously with that, as many of you probably have ideas that I haven't thought about yet. What do you think about the purple by the way?
API sometimes returns no posts and comments
Sometimes an API request returns {"comments":[]}
and {"posts":[]}
respectively, for a post and community, where posts and comments show up on the web frontend. Is that happening to any of you too? How do I handle it?
Edit: did some more testing, it's most definitely a federation issue. If I query the instance that the post was made on for the comments, everything works fine. If I query my home instance, the result comes back empty.
Edit 2: As always, just after publicly showcasing my lack of programming abilities, I discover it's been me the entire time. Make sure to await promises and to fetch posts from the correct instance, guys.
A sneak peak at my Lemmy app for android: Rooster
As a fun project, I started developing an Android app for myself a few weeks ago, because I already missed Boost for Reddit, even though it's still usable. So I took Boost as an inspiration and started working. It's come quite far and I have decided to publish it on Google Play, in case others feel the same way. It's still lacking some features, most notably the ability to see when someone sent you a message or replied to your comments, as well as the ability to create posts, but for casual lurking it's already quite nice I think. It will hit Play Store in a fews days.
Wieviel ist mein Fahrrad wert?
Servus zusammen.
- Modell: Rose Backroad GRX RX810 Di2
- Alter: ca. 1 Jahr
- Kilometerstand: ca. 2000km
- Neupreis aktuell: 3.599€
Vielen Dank euch! :-)
Is there a federated alternative to stackexchange?
Not that I have anything against stackexchange (yet), but it seems like the perfect example of a site that could be set up in the fediverse. Different stackexchange-networks could be set up as different instances. Seems too obvious of an idea that nobody has done it yet
