Alan Turing was a fucking hero, and the British legal system drove him to suicide
  • Wait a second, Alan Turing was a queer icon? I had no idea.

I cannot fathom how anyone can allow people to be punished for loving who they love, in a consenting relationship between two adults. What a terrible and tragic story. Fuck anyone who wants to punish people for doing something that doesn't hurt anyone; for doing something that in fact is literally the direct opposite of hurting anyone. Like, fuck them to the core, and not in any nice way.

  • X-communication
  • It's still the platform if you are in the counter strike scene. It's where all the pros and business insiders are. If you want updates, scoops, if you're looking for a team or want to learn about tournaments in your area, you have to be on Twitter. It sucks. For me, personally, this just means I don't follow the Counter-Strike scene anymore :/

  • Not again
  • And it's Danish, too! That might not mean a lot to you, but we're a small country, so it feels really cool when we get recognized globally.

I mean, nowadays we've made a nice mark on the movie industry, with Mads Mikkelsen, Jamie Lannister, Winding-Refn, and movies about drinking winning Oscars, but that was different 24 years ago.

  • A dog is not the opposite of a cat
  • The absence of a cat implies nothing is there. So the opposite of a cat is nothing (specifically nothing where a cat should have been).

So, another acceptable answer would be "what is up? Nothing."

  • TIL Washing your hands with plain soap is probably better than using antibacterial soap in the long run
  • That is literally how the school system works in Denmark, too. I'm not sure why he's taking for granted that anyone would have taken college level chemistry classes. We can pretty much pick and choose what classes we want to take starting around age 16, and once you get to a college level, your classes are just related to whatever degree you're getting.
