Kbin: What is your all time favourite video game?
  • Tekken 3 for the sheer amount of times I beat it front to back. I had no memory card for my PS1 as a kid so I'd leave my Playstation on all weekend while I beat the game. Some days the power went out and I'd lose progress and have to beat it all over again.

  • The worst physical pain you've ever experienced ?
  • Flipped over the front of my bike as a kid and knocked my two front teeth out. But it wasn't that part that hurt. It was when the dentist shoved them back into the hole. I about levitated out of the chair out of sheer pain.

  • CD Projekt Red insists that Cyberpunk 2077's launch wasn't that bad, but 'it became a cool thing not to like it'
  • No, it was pretty bad. I was the moron that bought it for PS4. It performed EXTREMELY bad. Refunded immediately.

Marketing machine hyped this game up beyond belief and i bought into it.

I came back to it on PC and after all of it's patches up to the path tracing update and it works much better now. Played through the story and it's pretty good but we'll see if the phantom liberty expansion ACTUALLY revamps what they say it will.

Once again it's a lot of big promises.

  • People with pets: how do you deal with all the fur?
  • A quality vacuum. Robot or otherwise. Get something with a good HEPA filter and schedule a clean every other day in common areas, Living rooms, bedrooms, wherever they hang out. Even just a couple minutes hand vacuuming the couch every other day will help with hair build up.

Dust surfaces frequently as well. That one i can get away with once a week but your mileage may vary.

  • What piece of kit or setup represents the pinnacle of your hobby/profession?
  • Been into computer hardware for not very long and got dragged into the Small Form Factor PC space immediately.

The pinnacle for me for a while what getting recent hardware into a PC case as small as a shoebox

I've started with PCs as small as 20L and now have my PC in a case less that 10L. The urge to go smaller while maintaining the same amount of power is hard to resist.

There are others doing full custom watercooling loops in PCs smaller than mine but that is a whole other rabbit hole i don't think i am ready for.
