I was providing context.
And yet you cared enough to comment. Have a nice day.
Aglet. Thanks phineas and ferb!
I also read that Elon is going to get rid of dim mode. Bruh.
Example 1. (My favorite) During the 2020 election, after Biden took the lead and looked to be the projected winner, "friend" at the time said quite confidently "Let the recount begin!" and then after [Trump] lost, she sent me one word replies. I also found out later she had a cardboard cut out/was taken in front of a picture of Trump. Example 2. (recent) During an acquaintance's birthday she said the hard n word for no reason at all. It wasn't even warranted. Nor was she driving. I set a boundary after that saying, you use that term in front of me again, we will not hang out. I don't hang out with racists.
You mean Tim Scott actually has a backbone?!
Right now if you go to settings, you (i.e. me) get the infinite circle wheel so I decided I CBA.
You will. Patience hatchling padawan.
P.S. hope you don't mind swearing.
Secondary remember (for me and others who need to hear it) Don't listen to the TERFs. Biological assignment (sex) is NOT the same as gender. <3 If you say you're a woman, (or a man, or a nonbinary trans because they're valid too), then you're a woman (or a man or nonbinary).
EMOTIONAL DAMAGE?! He took a step! Sorry I deflect through humor.
Reading the gender dysphoria bible on gender dysphoria was the greatest enlightenment I have ever received, and I've been out (albeit mentally conflicted and still doubting whether I'm trans enough
since 2021. Irrelevant context: I came across the Gender Dysphoria Bible with the TERF comment under, (not so) funnily enough r/translesbian, of
CW: TERF bigotry, transphobia, invalidation, confidence killer
___You're a bro, dude <skull emoji>
and it's been living in my head (I know it shouldn't but it did) rent-free up until this point.
It was r/Satanic_Temple_Subreddit
I just briefly peeked in to see what was happening with Reddit and it is weird to say the least
The upvote system is greyed out and you can only reply. What is going on?!
This may be too soon but l/agedlikemilk. Yes, I know it doesn't link it, yes I know it's not reddit, hell I don't even know if the agedlikemilk subreddit is on Lemmy, but it's the thought that counts.
This is the best way I can think of to put it: Think of the Seige of Minas Tirith and you have your answer.
You got it! There you go!
Aside from the one in the body text, I had one earlier. The Eternal Conflict but it's looking androgynous vs. having a warm beard.
The only downside to this format is that you have to deep dive into Diablo lore to know what the Eternal Conflict even is..
New meme format I've been doing recently: The Eternal Conflict but it's <xyz equivalent analogy here>
If you're wondering what this has to do with autism I'm getting to it.
The Eternal Conflict format is two conflicting juxtapositional internal struggles. For example: The Eternal Conflict but it's thinking glistening shower water is sexy vs. the transition from going dry to wet.
Ever since my self-diagnosis, I feel a weird 'us vs. them' mentality referring to myself as neurodivergent vs. neurotypicals.
Does anyone else feel this way or did when they first self-diagnosed?
I don't know about songs that sing about autism but I know of a couple of binaural songs that tickle my brain and they're by Rob Zombie. They're all from the Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy album. The first one that comes to mind is The Ballad of Sleazy Rider.
Can someone explain to my neurotypical mother who is sort of new to my self-diagnosis of asd1 that transitioning (getting showers) is hard for me?
I cannot STAND going from dry to wet.
It's now doing that for save profile information. Glad I'm not the only one.
I went ahead and finally joined Lemmy given the shitshow that is the unfolding reddit drama
Because OI. Hello, my name is Eamon, or Alycia if you like. Many people are migrating to Lemmy and it's popped up in my feed/s enough that I decided to join. I am 26, a gender-fluid transgender woman and lesbian*. It's nice to meet you. This will take some time getting used to but I feel I will get used to it quickly. *primarily, also nine different other things, such as asexual.
