Lemmy is better if you stick to the subscribed feed
  • That's why there are subs (or whatever you call them here). I've been following reddit that way, as you described, for some decades now. I honestly preferred it before there were subs but, once there were, viewing all was just never the same again.

  • Should I ditch Samsung Galaxy S8?
  • OnePlus 11

Hasselblad!? Wow, I need to replace my Pixel, been on android phones since the first google phones. This looks like just the sort of thing I'm searching for. Thanks for posting.

  • A troll (https://lemm.ee/u/shinigamiookamiryuu) is a new moderator of AskLemmy on Lemmy.world. They recently trolled about how Elon Musk's Nazi salute "has been debunked". What can be done about this?
  • How can anyone suggest he didn't intend to do it? M-fer put more heart and back into it than Hitler ever did and then he clicked heel, did an about face, and doubled down with as much or more enthusiasm. There was nothing accidental about it. He's an Afrikaner apartheid loving Nazi. I know everyone knows this but you all don't have to waste your time arguing about what the entire world saw televised.

  • Dems "pissed" at liberal groups MoveOn, Indivisible
  • There's a whole lot of nothing here but sure go ahead and take it at face value and jump on board the complain train. This article doesn't cite a single usable source or event to back up this headline. The closest it gets is this sort of thing:

a lot of people who were like, 'We've got to stop the groups from doing this.' ... People are concerned that they're saying we're not doing enough, but we're not in the majority," said one member.

This reads exactly like a trump quote. A lot of people are saying. I don't care. This isn't even journalism. Axios can be just as big a POS as any other source sometimes. This one's clickbait. I'm reading too many venting comments here by people who obviously didn't get past the headline.

Edit: You know exactly what I'm talking about, guy. Don't play dumb. Utilize your critical analysis skills. I'm obviously criticizing the source for a reason. No need to take lazy swings at me. Unsurprisingly, his comments are abusive elsewhere, as well as totally lacking in self-awareness. (Trying to load screenshot of him screaming and cussing at others but not working. I just started here yesterday. Will figure it out. I have to say, I've been on reddit since ~2005 and Lemmy is fckn crushing it!)
