Was mostly referring to restaurants and other services. But in general, no I have yet to experience any place flat out rejecting my business if I pay in cash. I'm not sure what's with the downvotes, I'm merely sharing my personal experiences.
Don't do cash, or would prefer not to do cash? Those are 2 different things.
I have yet to encounter a place that will refuse to take my cash if I tell them I have no other method of payment. They may not be eager to, but they can't stop you from leaving.
Nobody's refusing payments in cash. The articles you're linking were during covid, an entirely different context
Oh yes, no argument there. That's my entire point, in fact.
Warning: Unpopular opinion coming up
This is a ridiculous metric. They measure carbon emissions not just by what the billionaires are consuming, but by what their investments (businesses, factories, etc) are producing. This is akin to the world blaming China for their grossly inflated per capita emissions, while conveniently ignoring that it's actually being consumed by other countries and it's just shifting numbers around.
There are plenty of legit reasons to hate billionaires, there's really no need to be making up new questionable ones that can be torn apart.
That's pretty much the point. The steam deck was a huge success, but the only reason it could exist and be such a success was because they had the freedom to do what they liked and not worry about management with attitudes like yours.
Good thing you weren't working at steam, huh.
What's with all the recent articles whitewashing Denuvo?
Do you have a better alternative, you lemming?
Steam DRM doesn't have quite the same history of maliciousness towards end users that Denuvo does
Pretty sure that's how it should be working on any UI.
What makes you think he's an idiot as opposed to lying through his teeth?

Something groundbreaking like this is going to get a lot of attention and reproduction. Not something you'd want to fake.
Is that not how it currently works? I was under the impression that's how it works for me at least. What behaviour are you seeing?
He may be an artist, but he's definitely no writer. I'd love to read so much more about his story, but it's just hints and bits.
By the same logic however, mods would have no power to actually moderate. Their moderation ability is directly proportional to their potential for abuse. And I think we can all agree we've long passed the point where communities are able to survive without moderation, at least in their current form (which is what OP is discussing).
Malaysian.
Is this the artist's first attempt at speech bubbles? Jeez
