  • You think there's a lot of Trump supporters around here that need to hear it or something? I guess you'd have to go to trumpsocial or whatever they call whatever site they congregate on to talk to them, but plenty of ardent Biden stans are here to hear the Biden hate.

Biden stans are also seen by most of his detractors here as simply misguided, not entirely lost causes. You can likely surmise they think the exact opposite of trump supporters, who mostly around here would get stuff like "kys" instead.

You can say what you want about their politics, but the prevalence of Biden memes and the lack of Trump memes is logical for those reasons and likely more, as another commenter said you can only clean your own house and all.

  • What’s really inside vapes? We pulled them apart to find out
  • Maybe buy juice from a reputable company then, or make your own like I do. You technically don't know what pesticides were sprayed on your fruits and veggies either unless you grow em yourself, you don't know if the cook at the restaurant you ordered at put arsenic in your soup, live a little.

  • As a guy who makes his own juice, it's nicotine derived usually from tobacco or sweet potatoes suspended in a solution of either USDA food grade vegetable glycerine or propylene glycol, which is then mixed in the appropriate desired concentration with USDA candy/food artificial flavorings and more USDA food grade VG/PG.

List is out! Small one for me which is good on the wallet for sure!

    Space Ghost #3

That's it lol. I was missing one in my box last week that should be there this week though, so there's that! What're you grabbing?

    1
Gathered at Camp David, Biden's family tells him to stay in the race and keep fighting
  • but you're responsible for not trying to vote them out and writing off the entire fucking party as the same.

What do you think I've been doing for the last 30 years, sticking a finger in my ass and checking for smells? Again and again I've done "my part," and nothing has changed. Your anger is misplaced, misguided by the very people I speak out against into attempting to silence any dissent to The Party™. Fuck off lol.

  • Gathered at Camp David, Biden's family tells him to stay in the race and keep fighting
  • Keep your guilt complex to yourself, I don't need it. If you feel personally responsible for the abhorrent candidates the DNC runs more power to you. I however am but one man with one vote and I'm hardly responsible if the majority of or the leadership of The Party don't align with my views. It is they who have failed us, not the other way around.

  • Gathered at Camp David, Biden's family tells him to stay in the race and keep fighting
  • You can blame me all you wish, if it makes you feel better to blame others who have absolutely no say in the matter instead of the party or their leaders for disenfranchising so many people.

Your continued support of the familiar means they'll never change. Of course since I'm sure you, like the party leadership, like it that way, it shouldn't be an issue for you.

  • Gathered at Camp David, Biden's family tells him to stay in the race and keep fighting
  • I still think it's a ridiculous notion that I alone am responsible for the failures of the democrat party simply because I am unable to go door to door and say "Vote for Zippy," regardless of who puts forth the candidate. Short of being the sole arbiter of ballots of course.

  • Finding your motivation
  • Wait how?

Because he isn't working out "for her" or because he doesn't think his grandma is strong enough to throw her own car batteries in the ocean?

If A) I'm assured women aren't dressing in a certain way or doing makeup "for men" as well, they say it's "for them." Unless this is misandrist, I don't think working out "not for women's approval" is misogynist. Doing things for other reasons than to garner the sexual attraction of the opposite sex seems like an acceptible path.

If B) It could just as easily be that he isn't doubtful of grandma's abilities because she is a woman, but because she is old. Maybe it's ageism at play instead, or maybe she asked previously if her grandson could assist with routine car maintenance such as a battery change.

If C) Other, please inform, as I have missed it.

  • Gathered at Camp David, Biden's family tells him to stay in the race and keep fighting
  • I'm just wondering why they left the fate of the entire free world to...this guy? Seriously? A turtle would have been better. Why run him again when it was this obvious of a bad idea even back in the primaries? Anyone but Hillary would have been a shoe in, now we have to worry.

  • things you can only do with boys
  • It would seem you think that women should be presumed innocent and men presumed guilty based on the number of people in each respective demographic that have been convicted of sexual assault in a court of law, based upon this thread here.

  • things you can only do with boys
  • I didn't say "baby photos" I said "if your wife tells you she is upset about something do you ask her for peer reviewed studies on how that something could possibly psychologically effect someone negatively, or do you just believe she is feeling how she says she is feeling?"

List is up! Let's see here..

Animal Pound #4 - Updated retelling of Animal Farm, it's fantastic.

Rare Flavours #6 - This is the end of the road. This book has been fantastic, the art is great and so is the writing. I believe it was the same team that did The Many Deaths Of Laila Starr and I'll be following these two if they team up again. Ram V also wrote The One Hand which is a great series too.

Blue Book 1947 #5 - I like cheesy alien stuff, sue me lol. It's about the history of UFOs in the US, aptly named. I already new most of it but they did teach me some new stuff too, and I like the B side stories in there. Last issue.

Lester Of Lesser Gods #2 - Silly fun

Operation Sunshine Already Dead #3 - LPOTL guys, basically vampire oceans 11, one issue after this, can't wait to see what they have next!

William Of Newbury #2 (Of 4) - Cute raccoon monk fights demons, what's not to love? Also, there was a real guy by this name in the middle ages but I don't think he was a demon fighting monk.

Sacrificers #9 - Man shit has been going down in this series.

Universal Monsters Creature From The Black Lagoon Lives #3 - I'm a nerd lol. I think they're doing all the Universal Monsters which I may or may not pick up.

w0rldtr33 #11 - Shit has been going down in this series too lol.

Whoo! A lot of shit but a lot of shit I've been waiting on. What's on your lists?

New list is up! Small week for me but that's alright!

My Bad Escape From Peculiar Island #2 - It's dumb, I like dumb. I got this last week though, idk why it's on this list. Was surprised to see it last week since it wasn't on that list.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles The Last Ronin II Re-Evolution #2

Man's Best #4 - I've been digging Space Homeward Bound, excited for this one.

One Hand #5 - End of the series (maybe one more six fingers). Been good!

    What are y'all getting?

    Comic Book Storage

I'm kinda new to collecting but as my collection grows I'm running into an issue, I need a decent way to store them.

Currently I have two BCW plastic boxes and one of their cardboards, and at least enough comics in a stack to fill another box.

What should I do? Should I stick with cardboard for price and use the plastic for the most valuable ones or larger runs like Ice Cream Man? Should I look into Legal size file cabinets? Some other comic furniture? I'm thinking it may be worth it.

Taking recommendations or just "I do X," anything helps, thanks!

ComicList: New Comic Book Releases List for 06/12/2024

This week's list is up! For me this week:

Into The Unbeing Part One #1 - Cover looks cool, I'll probably grab this.

Batman Gotham By Gaslight #1 (Facsimile Edition) - I like weird Batman, definitely getting this and:

Batman Gotham By Gaslight The Kryptonian Age #1 - Because why not? 1890s Batman sounds coll

Ain't No Grave #2 - The first one was pretty good, gonna continue this one

Geiger #3 - I do like me some SuperFallout

Remote Space #1 - Looks and sounds cool

    Rifters #1 - Brian Posehn's Time Cops

Dick Tracy #2 - I dig it, usually avoid rehashed IPs but this one is ok.

    What're you pulling?

ComicList: New Comic Book Releases List for 06/05/2024

Light week for me, thankfully, since I've had other things I needed. But still one I've been excited for!

Minor Threats II The Fastest Way Down #3 - Minor Threats is great, Scott Hepburn's art is so detailed in strange ways that just give you a taste of the scenery, and Patton Oswalt's writing is fantastic. Can't wait for the next series already, Minor Threats: Barfly, following one of those aforementioned background elements: what appears to be a punk kid that got Goldblumed (see: The Fly.)

Space Ghost #2 - It's no Coast to Coast but I liked issue #1, we'll see how long I stick with it.

I Hate Fairyland #15 - I love I hate Fairyland, as confusing as that sentence sounds.

    What's on your lists?

ComicList: New Comic Book Releases List for 05/29/2024

New list is up! Not much for me this week:

Dawnrunner #3 - Mechs VS Eldritch Kaiju, and memories from the past. Great so far!

Operation Sunshine Already Dead #2 - Love me some LPOTL guys.

Grommets #1 - Honestly not what I'd usually go for, but it's Rick Remender and Brian Posehn, who apparently has been writing comics since his stand up career. I loved his stand up back in the day, so I have to pick this up.

Six Fingers #4 - Love both this and the connecting The One Hand

Universal Monsters Creature From The Black Lagoon Lives #2 - Classic monsters and Ram V

w0rldtr33 #10 - This series is pretty fucking good. Honestly kinda rolled my eyes when I read the elevator pitch but checked it out and have no regrets.

William Of Newbury #1 - Idk about this one but I'm at least gonna thumb through it, looks interesting.

    What's on your pull lists?

ComicList: New Comic Book Releases List for 05/22/2024

Big week for me, but that's because of some back issues I'm grabbing. As for this week's releases:

My Bad Escape From Peculiar Island #1 - Looks weird, I like weird

    Man's Best #3 - Loving Man's Best so far

Blue Book 1947 #4 - Aliens are fun, we need more aliens, I want comics like Edd had from Ed, Edd, and Eddy!

Bat-Man First Knight #3 - The Bat is alright, also gonna pick up a few bat back issues from the 80s while I'm there.

White Boat #1 - Don't know much but the cover looks cool

Blood Squad Seven #1 - Same as above

Rook Exodus #2 - Not gonna lie I'm probably dropping this. It's neat and stuff but tbh the selling point is that it shares a universe with Geiger, and honestly I'm not sure how much I care. Probably dropping Redcoat too, same reason, though I do like that a bit more.

What's on your lists this week?

    1

ComicList: New Comic Book Releases List for 05/15/2024

Fishflies #6 - Nearing the end of this 7 parter. A kid is shot, the shooter turns into a...thing..., the thing links up with an outcast little girl who identifies with the outcast criminal, somehow this all connects to previous cases and a darker secret in the town that I don't know yet.

Ice Cream Man #39 - This got delayed like 4mo, I've been waiting! Part 1 of 2, (neither part is "required"). They're always about sad things, this one is about car crashes.

Napalm Lullaby #3 - This one has been OK so far, if this issue doesn't drop something interesting enough to keep me around I maaaay drop it.

Redcoat #2 - Also unsure about this one, though I do like the whole "historical cult" thing.

Doom #1? - I mean tbh the only reason I want it is MF DOOM. I know this Doom isn't as good of a lyricist though, so we'll see.

    3

ComicList: New Comic Book Releases List for 05/08/2024

Sorta big week for me it looks like, mostly Image.

Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees #6 - Favorite out right now full stop, this is ostensibly the last issue, but he says he has ideas to continue "if they let him" and frankly I assume they'll beg him to with how popular it has been, so here's hoping.

Ain't No Grave #1 - Scottie Young, looks promising.

Geiger #2 (2024) - I like Geiger, but not sure I'll keep up the rest (redcoat, rook, etc). I mean I'm primed for the whole "nuclear wasteland chic" thing because Fallout (when the hell are they going to release Grognak comics etc btw?!) anyway and it's superhero-ey but new. To me anyway, so it doesn't feel tired.

I Hate Fairyland #14 - Love this series, it's just good old silly fun. The last issue wasn't my favorite, but the previous like, 39 are great lol.

One Hand #4 - Shit got real in the last connected issue, can't wait to see how this one connects to that!

Sacrificers #8 - All in on this one, let's gooooo! I'm so glad it got more than the og 6 issues. In this issue we should get back to our Peculiar Pigeon Protagonist!

    What's on your pull lists?

ComicList: New Comic Book Releases List for 05/01/2024

This week's list is up! Let's see..

Lester of the Lesser Gods #1 - Sounds interesting enough,

    >"Lester, the larping bastard son of the Odin, wanders the post-apocalyptic wasteland after thwarting Satan’s attempt to bring about the end of days. But can this hero of the downtrodden survive the battle arena of Will Frye the Technomancer Guy."

Minor Threats II The Fastest Way Down #2 - I'm all in on Minor Threats, Patton Oswalt done did it again.

Blood Brothers Mother #1 - "For fans of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly." Well, that's me.

Light week for me it seems, what about you?

New Comic Book Releases List for 04/24/2024

Man's Best #2 - I liked #1 a lot, looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Rare Flavours #5 - Ram V is killing it in this one and I love Filepe Andrade's art.

Dawnrunner #2 - Mechs vs ...eldritch kaiju? I'm in.

Operation Sunshine Already Dead #1 - If you missed the first run of Op Sunshine check it out. Made by the Last Podcast On The Left guys Marcus Parks and Henry Zebrowski (aka Gary from Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell), who also did Soul Plumber. The last run sets up the world and the plan for an Arcane Oceans 11 situation, this run they execute the plan. Art by David Rubin.

Spectregraph #1 - I'll probably pick this up, the dude who does w0rldtr33 is doing it.

Mythologies And Apocrypha #1 - If my shop has it, they usually neglect Fantagraphics.

Six Fingers #3 - Following both sides of this one.

Universal Monsters Black Lagoon #1 - SOLD! And it's Ram V? Sold again.

    W0rldtr33 #9 - This series is great!

Honorable Mention: Pooh vs Bambi #1 - What the FUCK?!

    >"In war there are rules, but the forest has none. Abandoned by his country, betrayed by those he once called family, and hunted by those who want nothing more than to keep him as a trophy, Pooh is on a mission and no amount of honey will sate his thirst-he wants revenge!"

Lotus land #6- Been ok, kinda just finishing it up because I already have the rest.

Blue book 1947 #3 - I like this one, the story of the origins of our alien lore

Batman off world #4 - I love this one, weird little batman series.

Golgotha Motor Mountain #2 - Meth from space turns people into cronenberg monsters. I'm in.

7174AD #1 - Idk shit about it, I'm 100% judging this book by its cover, but it looks interesting.

That's it for me this week, what about you guys?

ComicList: New Comic Book Releases List for 04/10/2024

List is up! Short list for me but one I'm excited about:

Bat-Man First Knight #2 - 1930s The Bat-Man (just had to lable it that way instead of "Batman" huh?) #1 was great!

Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees #5 - You know me, love this series

I Hate Fairyland #13 - This one is right up my alley as well

Napalm Lullaby #2 - #1 was ok, not sure I'll stick with it.

    What're y'all reading?

ComicList: New Comic Book Releases List for 04/03/2024

A lot this week it looks like, might have to make some cuts, let's see..

Minor Threats II The Fastest Way Down #1- I have loved the first series and The Alternates, gonna keep going on this one. I like Patton Oswalt's writing and the art is great.

Geiger #1- I liked the last series on this one too.

Redcoat #1 - Ghost Machine, shared universe with Geiger and Rook

Rook Exodus #1 - Damn man all in the same week? Can we stagger these?!

Sacrificers #7 - New arc, probably most excited about this one this week, or tied with Minor Threats.

Deadpool #1 - I did read all of Deadpool Vs Cable back in the day, maybe I pick this up.

    0

ComicList: New Comic Book Releases List for 03/27/2024

They went easy on me this week!

Primer #1 - I totally didn't used to write graffiti so I'm definitely not intrigued by the cover. We'll see, if she's more bomber than "street artist" I'll be picking this up.

Six Fingers #2 - I think I prefer The One Hand so far but it's really cool having both sides. The One Hand (Ram V) follows the detective, The Six Fingers (Other Guy) follows the murderer.

That's it! Thankfully, because next week might be kinda heavy. What're you pullin'?

    2

Lotus Land #5 - Been pretty good, almost over may as well finish it.

Man's Best #1 - Maybe, gonna flip through it. Pets in space.

Dawnrunner #1 - Ram V. All I know, but the cover looks intriguing and Ram V is good

Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees #4 - Perhaps my favorite book out right now, if you've been sleeping on this one check out the reprints or trade when it comes out.

Deer Editor #3 - Didn't see that twist coming, this is the last book in series.

That's it for me, what's on your list this week?

    2

What is your favorite alcoholic cocktail?

Or what has been your go to lately? I'm usually a whiskey and ginger kinda guy but I'm trying to branch out a little these days. What're you drinking?

    Currently sipping on a Paloma:

    • 1.5 oz Tequila (blanco)
    • .5oz lime juice
    • 4 oz Grapefruit soda (Jarritos today)
    • Pinch of salt
    149

Whooo big week, for me and the list in general. Let's see:

Blue Book 1947 #2 - Aliens, WWII, #1 was pretty good.

Batman Dylan Dog #1 - Don't know what it's about but I'll at least flip through it.

Westley Dodds Sandman #6 - The end of the line. Been pretty good for a superhero book.

Fishflies #5 - Fishflies has been great, guy shoots a kid, turns into a giant mayfly creature, on the run with a different kid escaping her abusive dad. Slow going, quarterly I think.

Napalm Lullaby #1 - "A child with unimaginable power is raised to believe he is God by a cult of zealots utterly confident in the moral authority of their religion. The Magnificent Leader has imposed his will on humanity and created the ultimate theocracy. Join them, or be cast out to suffer with the masses." Rick Remender of The Sacrificers, def giving this a shot even though I can't get into his "Low."

One Hand #2 - Ram V, digging the split thing with The Six Fingers.

Petrol Head #5 - Cheeky robots drive fast.

I Hate Fairyland #12 - Should I be paying attention to this one? I guess I'll browse through it and see.

    What're you reading?

    1
