does drinking sparkling water like clear American or something count as drinking actual water?
  • Sugar free soda can have artificial sweeteners that can make ibs way worse. As someone with chronic gut issues, I avoid sugar free soda big time. Your triggers may be different, but I’d suggest going without it for a week or two and seeing how you feel.

Instead I drink carbonated water (and a lot of it). I get the plain water, squeeze a lime in it and add a splash of pure (unsweetened) cranberry juice. It’s better than soda, imo.

  • Every instance owner should post a weekly canary clause to prevent gag orders from being as effective.

Just a weekly post that says, “in the last X days, we have not received any gag orders”

If the owner ever fails to post the canary clause, it’s assumed that there was a gag order.

  • Indicating on roundabouts
  • I’m in the US and this is how I was taught. We don’t have many roundabouts and most people don’t know how to signal for them (much less use them at all) but that’s what driving schools teach

  • They’ll make people apply to get their subs turned to NSFW. They’ll all be SFW by default and force people to give a reason as to why it’s NSFW. They’ll deny every application from the newly changed NSFW subs. Or they’ll charge people for the NSFW tag - and it’ll be based on traffic!

  • Which browser do you use on MacOS?
  • Safari has the best memory and cpu footprint. Kind of annoying to use from a developer standpoint - so many of the FF/Chrome extensions that people rely upon don’t exist.

When I’m just browsing, I use safari. When I’m doing work, it’s FF.
