Two tired Tawny Frogmouths (New South Wales, Australia)
cross-posted from: https://lemmy.world/post/23520195
> I was out recently noticed two Tawnys in a tree, i was surpirsed as the last i saw any was around a year ago and it was just one where i’d always seen two together. > > These two looked very tired. The one on the left was more awake and i felt like i was being glared at. ‘Dude, I’m watching you, I don’t like you and if you come closer, we might have to move, and we really, really don’t want to do that’. > > So i came close enough to get this shot and left them in peace but am keeping an eye out for them the next time in the area.
Waterhole Slot Canyon
cross-posted from: https://lemmy.world/post/23341185 > Everyone has seen Antelope Canyon on their Windows login screens it whatever but just a few miles away, you can visit Waterhole canyon, which is bigger and quieter. A guide was and to let me spend as much time as I wanted seeing up and getting my shots, a luxury I did not have at the more famous location. My pictures came out ok but the experience was worth it. > > Nikon D750 W/ Sigma 12-24mm 2.8 > 1/8 sec f/18 iso100 (??? what was I thinking)
The Door
On a recent walk with my TLR camera I stumbled upon this overgrown door and I had to snap a pic of it.
I was really happy when I got home and developed the film to see that this shot came out.
