Other clips in that fascinating interview with Noel Gallagher. I always love to hear him talk about City and football in general. He's a knowledgable fan with nuanced understanding of the game, imo.
Something Noel mentioned several times: it'll take 10 years.
He was talking about getting to a place where you can take winning the Champion's League seriously. A real contender, not just a fluky run. This is how long it took City to get there with SERIOUS football people running the club from top to bottom with a long-term vision.
He mentioned the 10 years figure in regards to Newcastle and United, but it applies to Spurs too. Arsenal further in. Chelsea? 🤷♂️
