It does for me in one browser (mobile Firefox), but weirdly only in a regular tab - an incognito tab works fine. No idea what that would be. Every other browser and platform works okay. It’s not just Lemmy.world either, it’s the same on other instances.
I don't know about login, because I was unable to create an account. It was stuck, not doing anything with just the spinner on the submit button forever. Tried disabling adblocks, using different browsers and the same effect always persisted. I gave up on signing up to the instance

It doesn't work for me either, with F-droid Fennec. Clearing cache/cookies/history/everything does not help, so don't suggest that. I installed Jerboa because of this. I have no other way to log in from my phone. Well ok, maybe with Chrome, but that is a bridge too far.
There is a banner that says Clear Your Browser Cache if you're having any issues... so that should be your first port of call.
