Yeah as long as they’re finally finishing it. Parting it out over several years like they did just killed the hype.
Personally, it didn't kill the hype for me. Better that they split it up, instead of trying to cram everything into the original final season. I think the biggest mistake was naming it Final Season to be honest. If it wasn't named Final Season, I don't think anyone would've bat an eye. I'm more disappointed in how AoT didn't seem to get the priority from Mappa or whoever it should've gotten.
Honestly, their chance has already passed with this nuttery for me. I'm done with the series, I don't even want to know the ending. All I'm waiting for is to stop hearing about the series
I'm sorry to hear that tbh. The series is really solid, possibly one of my favorites.
I do agree that Mappa (or whoever made the decision) completely botched the schedule, and I was tempted time and time again to just buy the manga, like many of my friends actually did.I dropped the series at ep 11 of final season when I learned it was gonna have a final season part 2. Maybe in a few years I'll go back and finish it off, but fuck, this release schedule has really soured me on the series.
