For the past few months I’ve been reading articles about ai-replacing jobs, openai/ChatGpt advancements and came to the conclusion that big corporations won’t be able to survive if they replace majority of jobs the way people claim they will. Majority of the population are in the “working class” or work in skilled/unskilled labor industries to increase their wealth and provide for themselves. If workers like programmers, it specialists and even retailers get replaced by ai that’s less money being invested back into the businesses and economy. Less people will pay taxes, more people will be on unemployment etc etc.

The people that argue that it will bring more jobs don’t realize they will exist to train the ai to replace them. It’s not a matter of if but when, and when this spreads to other industries the problem will get more severe. With inflation and high-cost living(in America) being the way it is now, I think profits will hit a maximum before they start to decrease especially if they start replacing jobs.

So how could corporate America/max profit business owners survive after the replacement of human workers?
