I have been hacked and Epic games is doing nothing

I am so frustrated. My account has been hacked, I have send tons of evidence to Epic Games and they keep saying “out of security reasons for our players we can’t do anything”.. So they are literally defending the hacker from me and MY account?! Please someone, what can I do at this stage? Taking legal proceedings?
