I am unsure the communities thoughts when it comes to channels like Cultaholic/Whatculture/etc, but some touching news: Time stamp should work in the title but start watching at the 7 minute mark. Spoilers below.
Tom Campbell introduces Impacts own Joe Hendry to discuss Impacts UK Invasion show coming up. Joe announces that Cultaholic will be sponsoring the X-Division Championship match between Kenta and Chris Sabin.
A few moments later Joe presented a genuinely unexpected gift which threw Tom off guard and made him start tearing up: Impact (via Joe) has officially announced that Tom Campbell will be Impacts special guest ring announcer for the tour.
Tom is the best and I loved seeing how genuinely happy he was <3
On topic: Have loved Tom since the day he showed up and I know he's wanted this for awhile, so nice to see him finally get it.
(Off topic: If anyone notices comments/posts/likes/boosts here from another account with my name, from different instances: It's 100% me lol. Not leaving kbin but testing out different lemmy instances cause I need a temp. account for mobile app access on Boost and I'm running into defederation and API issues so trying to find a middle ground lol and I may end up being too dumb to switch accounts from time to time. Already had 1 person elsewhere message me in an unrelated community so figure I'll mention it here for all you degenerates <3).

Yeah I love kbin.social, but I wanna use a mobile app again. kbin has no API, so lemme use my alt account on artemis.camp which is a kbin instance with an API.
Oh, won't work outside of Artemis I guess. Ok well lemme use another account on another app fuck it. Make an account on a lemmy instance, login...app won't show kbin magazines. We're not even talking API issues at this point, cant see the magazines while logged into a lemmy instance. Login on a 3rd app with that account, kbin mags appear fine. Ok sticking with app #3!
Oh wait a sec this instance defederated from kbin.social cause of the bot problem we had so I can't see /m/SQ...fuck me lemme go make another account on another instance.

So now I got a kbin.social acc, a beehaw acc, a lemmynsfw acc, a dbzer0 account, a lemmy.zip account and probably 1-2 fucking others at this rate lol.
Good for Tom. I genuinely like Cultaholic. But as a next day watcher and a smartTV owner, I've been slapped by spoilers as soon as I turned my TV on more times than I'd like. So I had to unsubscribe. I unsubbed AEW's channel after Dark/Elevation were canceled for the same reason.
Also, someone do me a favor and remind me EVERY WEEK that Joe Hendry (👏👏) is on Impact's roster. I've been a fan ever since WCPW and it somehow slips my mind every single Thursday that I can still see him on Impact TV.

Also I feel this lol. I usually wake up, hit youtube and 'watch later' whatever came out overnight to watch over the next few hours, but several days a week I gotta avoid it for a few hours. Like right now the 5*GP just ended an hour or so ago and I couldn't watch it live so I'm mad avoiding everything until I watch it (which'll be in 5 mins when the wifey goes to bed lol).

I got you. I'm two episodes behind but his gimmick with Yuya Uemura has been hilarious. Their awkward entrance alone is worth the watch.
