Members of Yevgeny Prigozhin's private Wagner militia had advanced more than halfway toward Moscow after seizing Rostov-on-Don as Vladimir Putin vowed to crush an armed mutiny, Russia's first in decades.
Apparemment il y aurait une histoire de convoi d'argent (milliard de roubles équivalent à quelques dizaines de millions d'euros) à destination de Wagner, qui aurait été intercepté par des russes. Ça pourrait être le déclencheur de la rébellion. Et c'est le genre de truc qui peut s'arranger.
Poutine en sort humilié et affaibli, ça sent la fin de règne. On peut faire le parallèle avec le putch de 91 qui, même si il a loupé, a mené à la démission de Gorbachev.
