Is this some elaborate theater to publicly move tens of thousands of Wagner forces to Belarus to open up a new assault on Kyiv? This whole thing has been odd.
If they manage to actually take him down it will create a huge power vacuum. It could very well get batshit crazy in Russia for a while.
This is why it pays to hold out. If the victim of an unjust invasion (redundant?) can just hold out long enough, something like this is practically guaranteed to happen eventually.
