In the mythology, only Thor is able to use its power, tho, which is somewhat in line of MCU's logic.
Also, in quite a few comic timelines, the hammer literally makes Thor.
Well the last Thor movie also did that for Jane. I don't get this meme
yeah I like the old sigurd jarlson and was disapointed when they went with he was thor all along and just being punished by odin.
