Epic games launcher is so slow, I REALLY prefer pirated games!

OK I originally thought it was all my fault. Probably my PC, my Internet connection. Something. Blame me. But today I have had some spare time at work and we installed Epic Launcher on some hell of a PC we built out of the best parts. Core I9, 64 GB RAM, RAID0 from 2 NVME. 10 GBit Internet. Whatever we do with this thing is incredibly fast. Well but Epic Games launcher.

It all started that we installed Fallout New Vegas - which was free for a short time on epic. Very old game, but yay some fun.

From clicking on the Icon on the desktop until the main Menu shows it took a whooping 61 seconds. And not just once or so, we rebootet several times because at first I thought this was a glitch or something. Also with other games - I sometimes get an error because I started them twice - when I thought I didn't doubleclick properly after waiting like 20 seconds without anything happening.

And today at home it was so bothersome. Just starting the launcher took like 30 seconds. And then it greeted me with the option to log on and which account type. I logged on 100 times with my epic games account, is it so hard to remember that??? After clicking epic account it at least remembered my email (That is.... SOMETHING). And then I typed my password, waited another few seconds, just to be asked to click all fruits I see (Captcha). And THEN being taunted "Wrong password". Yay, typo, but would it be so hard to tell me wrong password instead of letting me click fruit? AT LEAST THE FIRST ATTEMPT?

Second attempt I had to click animals with glasses - yeah very funny. And Oh yeah I got it right, the password. But then it said to me they sent me an email with the verification code. AGAIN! and I log into my email, read that boring email with the code, enter it and click "REMEMBER THIS COMPUTER" FOR THE FUCKING 100TH TIME!!!! How hard is it to make a "remember that computer" function THAT ACTUALLy WORKS?????

End of the story - I rather get a pirated copy of the agme I own just to not experience all this pain and waiting. This is not a game launcher, it's a user botherer and time waster!
