As someone who has strictly played fortress mode for years, what is all the fuss about with Adventure mode? what's awesome about it? Is it just as fleshed out as Fortress mode? Curious!!
i also wonder this! my fortresses never survived more than a few seasons in classic because i didn't understand what was going on, though i loved it just the same. now the steam version has opened up a ton for me i'm excited to see what adventure mode could be like.
I haven't played it yet, but from what I've watched and read, it seems like a totally different game within the same world (you can visit your old forts!). Looks almost like a single player game of D&D.
Pretty much, it's like playing an RPG in the same world where you play Fortress mode. You can make a party with any race existing in that world and just set your own goals. You're supposed to be able to go on quests or become a villain but that still needs some work.
