These companies paid their employees a median wage of $31,672 in 2022, while their CEOs took home an average $15.3m
for elaboration, if a worker made $140 for being there for 8 hours one day, the CEO made $72,000, so in one day about twice what that person would have made for working 300 days that year.

Forgive me but why do we care so much about CEO pay? It's a handy comparator but isn't profit taking by shareholders the bigger concern?
How big a deal is one highly compensated position compared to the systemic wage suppression we've seen?
