I used to do some kind of similar shit with IFTTT to somewhat make posts in FB to appear in Twitter, now that seems so dumb.
I'd like this concept to evolve in more fields, but for now, I love it as it is.
3 0 ReplyYou're registered on your instance. that's how federation works, you don't register on each instance, you register on one and have access to all the rest that are federated with them. If lemmy.world decides to defederate your instance then you won't be able to anymore
